Hamilton SP RFC

Hamilton SP RFC Hamilton, aka Hammies, was established in 1875 and is the oldest rugby club in South Africa 🇿🇦 Senior teams include u20.

This year, Hammies celebrates 148 years of the oldest rugby club in South Africa. Champions ships won:
2023 - Mondial Amateur Rugby World Cup Champions
2022 - 2023 WP SLA U20 Champions
2010 - Melrose Sevens Champions
2009 - SAA and WP Club Champions

Teams we field:
Junior teams include u8 - u13. First - fifth teams include ages ranging from 18 years and older. Our u20, first and second team play

in the Western Province Super League A. Our third and fourth team play in the Western Province Reserve League. The Senior teams and U20 practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 18.30 to 20.00 and the Dynamiter 4ths practice on Mondays and Wednesdays from 17:30 to 19.30. Our junior practices are as follows:
Mini rugby (U7 to U9) practice is on Tuesdays 16.00- 17.30
U10 and U11 practice is on Thursdays 16.00 – 17.30
U12 and U13 practice is on Fridays 15.30 – 17.00

The boys were back at it last Saturday for the first-ever 1875 Cup — and Team Stefan absolutely COOKED. 👨‍🍳💨

The vibes were high, the rugby was flowing and the boys had an absolute blast! 🙌

In the end, Team Stefan took home the trophy after a 51–41 thriller. 🏆🔥
