Bronkhorstspruit parkrun Event #295 run report - 6/06/2026

Thank you to all the parkrunners, volunteers for keeping this parkrun going and making it so fantastic.

We are very grateful to the volunteers who made this event happen: ERHARD, JACO, ADRI, ANJE , NITA, DRIENIE, ANDRE, FILIA, DESPINA.


We all want to run, but think about those that are making it possible. Pitch in and volunteer sometimes, you will enhance your experience in what parkrun is all about 😃. And give others a chance to run/walk.

The first male finisher with the fastest feet was Sebastian at 20:33 🏆 🥇🏃🏻‍♂️. This was also his new PB time 🏃🏻

The first female finisher with the fastest feet was Dane at 24:13. This was also her new PB time🏆🥇🏃🏻‍♀️.

Sebastian, Dane, Anne-Marie, Rouxlé, Morgan ,Letabo, Stephanus, Thabile, Dorothea, Caroline, Keorapetse, Mmapula , Lee, Nita, Gift, received new PB times 🏃🏻🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️.

Dear parkrunners

We would love to appeal for new volunteers.

parkrun is free but we rely on our weekly volunteers to keep it going every Saturday.

It would be so, so sad if you arrive at a parkrun and it is canceled due to lack of volunteers.

Trained can be arranged,it's not difficult and so rewarding. Ask any of the volunteers who help. Giving back to the community. The appreciation of the runners and walkers make you feel appreciated.
On days you do not volunteer,take time to thank them please.

Our appeal is so that the ones who do ,get to also enjoy the run.

I'd also like to see new faces in the different roles.

eg you can be timekeeper one week, the next time parkwalker. The following week a running photographer. Or Run Director the one week and tailwalker the next time.
