Boksburg Rugby Club (previously known as ERPM Rugby Club) was formed in 1903 following the discovery of gold in Boksburg in 1887.

The Boksburg Rugby Club rugby club was established in 1903 by the ERPM mine in Boksburg
Senior Training Schedule:
🗓️ Tuesdays and Thursdays
🕕 18:30 - 19:00 (Warm-up)
🕢 19:00 - 21:00 (Main Training Session) The Club celebrated its 110th year anniversary during 2013 and continues to use Prince George Park Stadium in Boksburg as its home ground. The Club has in the circumstances a rich history and ha

s over the years delivered numerous provincial players for the old Transvaal Rugby Union, the old Eastern Transvaal Rugby Union and the current the Valke Rugby Union (“the Valke”). Avril Malan, the Springbok rugby player and legend, was one of the earlier administrators who were actively involved with the Club for many years. At the end of 2013 Boksburg Rugby Club was awarded the accolade “The best Valke Rugby Club for 2013”. This and various other milestones during 2013 assisted in Boksburg Rugby Club in being invited as a wild card to the 2014 Cell C Community Cup Rugby Tournament.
