Bring your friends, family and team spirit for a great night at Bloemfontein Bowling Club on Friday, 6 November 2026 at 18:00.

Teams consist of 4 players at R600 per team, and everyone is welcome — it’s a child-friendly event with food, a bar, lucky draw, entertainment and big prizes to be won! 🎉

What a game of cricket at Bobbies Park on Saturday! 🏏

The only club cricket match played in Bloemfontein this weekend turned into an absolute thriller as Bobbies Rebels took on Old Andreans 2 in what proved to be a battle between two very strong teams.

The Rebels batted first and posted a solid 158, with Lucas Boucher leading the charge with a superb 84 off just 58 balls, including 7 massive sixes.

Old Andreans had a tough chase ahead, especially after an exceptional bowling spell from Logan Geldenhuys, who took 5 wickets for just 11 runs.

In the end, Old Andreans managed to scrape through with only one wicket remaining, sealing a dramatic victory in a match that will surely be remembered as one of the great club cricket battles in Bloemfontein.

👏 Hats off to both teams for an incredible game and great sportsmanship.

Well done to all the players who made it such a memorable match!

Congratulations to Bobbies 2 on a strong victory against Botshabelo this weekend!

Francois van Rooyen led the bowling attack brilliantly with figures of 5 for 16, while Logan Geldenhuis made an impressive debut for Bobbies, claiming 3 for 11.

A superb all-round effort, restricting the visitors to just 40 runs in 15 overs.

Jaco Boshoff was sensational with 6 for 16, while Mike Otto delivered an outstanding 4 for 11, dismantling the CBCOB batting line-up for just 27 runs.
