IN MEMORY OF WILLIAM LOUW

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of William Louw, a highly respected and deeply valued member of the South African motorsport community.

William dedicated his life to rallying, official training and improving motorsport safety across Africa. Known for his calm leadership, kindness and unwavering commitment to the sport, his impact will be felt for many years to come.

In 2025, Motorsport South Africa honoured William with a special award in recognition of his outstanding contribution and lifelong dedication to motorsport.

We extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends and the entire motorsport community during this difficult time.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of William Louw - our Head Organiser, Clerk of the Course and above all, an exceptional person.

William’s passion and love for the sport left a lasting impact on everyone around him. He was a fighter, a leader and someone who gave so much of himself to the rally community. His dedication, presence and unwavering commitment will never be forgotten.

Our deepest condolences go out to his family, friends and every person who had the privilege of knowing him.

William leaves behind a legacy that will continue to live on through the sport and the people whose lives he touched.

He will be dearly missed by all of us and the entire rally community. 🕊️
