Night flight, 3 hour time difference, coffee shop walking distance away, murals (I LOVE murals, street art, paintings - especially while traveling), looking up to see I’m surrounded by mountains.
Oh and literally SO MUCH delicious food from Haus Murphys before time traveling back to the east coast.

Where will I got next for a quick 24-72 hour trip? Shocker, this time it doesn’t require a plane ticket.

Recently I have realized more and more the encouragement to buy it just because it’s a new color, or updated design or blah blah blah. Do I really tho??

Recently I have had a change in my body and have actually needed to buy new clothes so that they fit, but then I found myself still look at the websites like I needed more and more of the same pieces. I don’t tho, and you probably don’t either.

Here’s a look into my athletic clothes:
3 pairs of “short” run shorts
4 pairs of “long” run shorts
6 sports bras.
It’s MORE than enough (and also give or take a few pieces)

So here I am looking at ads asking myself, and society, do I really NEED that?

I went for a walk on the beach today and found this beauty of a shark tooth. Nature really is amazing.

{I also saw a spider as big as a dog (that might be a dramatic exaggeration) and then on my way back to my car I saw it eating dinner 🫣}

Did you know your massage is more than just relaxing??

Starting August 1 20% of all massages are being designated to sponsor a Dream. BUT what does that actually mean?!

Dreams Come True of Jax is a local wish granting organization supporting children with life threatening illnesses. Likely if you’ve been here a while, or had a conversation with me, you’ve heard a bit about Dreams Come True (DCT). They have a fantastic 5K in mid September, offer a school supplies shop and holiday shop for dreamers and their families, along with big and small celebrations and moments of care.

I’ve worked with DCT for about 4 years now between attending events, volunteering in this office and encouraging everyone to look them up. It means so much to be able to support them.

Without making this too long here’s how you can help! ☀️Book a massage or training session!
☀️Designate your tip to be added to the donation goal!
☀️Tell your friends! (Especially local business owners who like to be involved)
How it works- once the donation goal has been reached DCT will pair Lift It with Halie with a Dreamer who will be the recipient of the dream trip/occasion.
