One of my favorite quotes is “First you go with them, then they go with you, then you go together” and I think that is so important especially when starting young horses. I always say it has to be fun for them, because most of them live out doing whatever they wanna do for 2-3 years and then all of a sudden are put into full time work and can easily get sour. So today, for this guy “going with him” looked like him having a little snack time on his first ride.
