Caleb is doing okay.
He’s sore, shaken up, and understandably upset. Thankfully, he will be alright!

Last night was a reminder of just how quickly things can change at the track.

Caleb experienced an issue with the steering coming out of the turn and went full throttle into the wall. It was a hard hit, and as a parent, watching your child go into a wall like that is something you never forget.

We are incredibly thankful for the safety crew at McGrewBid Motoplex for their swift response and for making sure Caleb was ok.

We are thankful his safety equipment did its job.

We are thankful his Storm Chassis did its job.

We’re also thankful for everyone who came to check on him at the track and for every message, call, and text we’ve received today. It means more than you know.

As for the #7… its season may be over. The damage was extensive, and there’s a lot of work (and a lot of decisions) ahead before we know if we can get it back on track this year.

We’ll see what the next few weeks brings 🫶

UPDATE- Caleb is ok

Just wanted to clarify this post because we realize some people took it differently than we meant it

It was meant in the sense that you never know when your season will come to an abrupt ending, when circumstances change or you never know when you will do something for the last time

This year has thrown a lot at us
It made us think about how quickly things can change and how much we take those moments for granted.

You never know when it’s the last time 💔

Cole got a great start and was leading until about halfway to go. He got caught up trying to navigate around a lap car and lost the lead. He kept his focus though and finished strong!

Some nights are just really hard.

Racing can be incredibly rewarding but it can also be incredibly disappointing. And there’s no sugarcoating it—our driver has been struggling. The speed is there. We know it is. But the consistency just hasn’t been.

We headed to Greenwood Valley Action Tracks with 4 Jr Sprints making the call.

Feature: P3 → P3

When you know your driver is capable of more those nights are hard to watch.

You want to fix it.
You want to understand it.
Sometimes you even find yourself questioning whether all of this is worth it.

The good nights are easy to celebrate. It’s the hard nights that test you.

Sometimes you win.
Sometimes you learn.
