📸 ✨Your LinkedIn Profile called... You need a new photo! 👀

Let's be honest: Is your current professional headshot actually professional?

Maybe it's a cropped wedding photo. Maybe it's a selfie from three years ago. Maybe your profile picture is still the one where you look like you're being held hostage by the camera.

No judgment. We've all been there. 😂

It's time for an upgrade!

At **Connect & Capture**, Natalie Helen Photography will be taking professional headshots!

But that's not all! We're pairing the headshots with a communication training session and networking opportunity, so you can work on both how you present yourself and how you connect with others.

💼 FRIDAY CAREER CHECK-IN: When was the last time you invested in yourself?

Between deadlines, meetings, emails, and everything else life throws your way, it's easy to put your own professional growth on the back burner.

But here's your reminder: developing your career doesn't always require a big commitment. Sometimes, one evening can be a great place to start.

🗣️ Ever feel like you and a coworker are speaking two different languages?

You're explaining your point. They're interpreting it differently. Somehow, a simple conversation turns into a frustrating game of professional telephone.

Sometimes, the issue isn't WHAT you're saying. It's HOW you're communicating.

That's why we're bringing **Success Signals** to Connect & Capture!

Join us for communication training led by Staci Kivi, President/CEO of the Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce, and learn more about your communication style and how it can affect your interactions at work.

Because better communication can mean better collaboration, stronger relationships, and fewer misunderstandings.

And there's more! You'll also have the opportunity to network with other young professionals and get a fresh professional headshot from Natalie Helen Photography.

🍅 THAT'S A WRAP ON CRANBERRY TOURS WITH CURRENT! 🍅

Last week was a pretty good reminder that professional networking doesn't have to happen in a conference room.

We got outside, explored a cranberry marsh, learned a little more about one of Central Wisconsin's most iconic crops, enjoyed some food and drinks, and most importantly, spent time getting to know other young professionals in our community.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made the night one to remember!

And a huge thank you to Rooted In Red and Chatrbox Catering for helping us make it happen!

SAVE THE DATE!
Our next Current Young Professionals event will be November 10th - 6pm-8pm!

(Maybe this time next year we'll have a cranberry emoji??? 🍅)
