Wisconsin Challenge Series Returns for Super Late Models in 2027
Madison, WI- The Wisconsin Challenge Series has been revived for the 2027 race season for asphalt Super Late Model racing in Wisconsin. Utilizing the Unified Super Late Model Rules which remain consistent throughout the state. Each event will pay a minimum $750 to start and $5,000 to win and will be contested on the Hoosier Racing Tire ST1 and ST2 combination. Points and pay will be based on overall finish for twin and triple events.

An initial eight race schedule has been constructed with marquee events being held at Dells Raceway Park in conjunction with their Alive for 5 Series, Wisconsin’s Action Track Jefferson Speedway, Slinger Super Speedway and two stops at Madison International Speedway as well as the Dick Trickle 99 during LaCrosse Fairground Speedway’s Oktoberfest Race Weekend. This schedule could expand to a maximum of ten events with the Champion being crowned during the 2027 Falloween Weekend at DRP in late October.

Matt Berger of Loves Park IL captured the Falloween 30 in the Midwest Dash Series event at Dells Raceway Park Saturday Night.

George Bohn was the early leader in the 30-lap Midwest Dash Series season finale. Bohn and Justin Schelizche put on a great battle as the two swapped the lead back and forth. The first caution flew on lap 10 when Nicholas Loesel spun coming out of turn four. Schelizche continued to lead at the restart with Matt Berger flying to the front and would have had the lead, but the caution flew on lap 16 when Shawn Mayberry went spinning in turn four. Berger would easily take the lead on the restart and quickly pull away until the next caution flew with 8 laps to go for Kamren Hill, who came to a stop on the front stretch. Once again, Berger would break away from the rest of the field and drive off to victory. Schelitzche was second. Phil Malouf was third with Lyle Philips and Josh Wilhite rounding out the top five.

Phil Malouf won the 2026 Midwest Dash Series championship.

Tanner Berge of Elkhorn, WI captured the 2026 UMA 602 Late Model Championship at Dells Raceway Park with his 4th place finish in the Falloween 35 presented by Lefthander Performance.

Nick Schneider of Rockton IL captured the Falloween 35 in the 602 Late Models Presented by Lefthander Performance on Saturday Afternoon at Dells Raceway Park.

A couple of early cautions in the first two laps slowed the start of the 602 Crate Late Model feature event. On the third restart, Pete Moore secured the lead over Nick Schneider. Schneider would get to the inside of Moore on lap six to challenge for the top spot, but Moore was getting a better run off of turn two to keep the lead. With 12 laps to go, Schneider was able to get the long-time veteran loose in turns one and two and take over the lead. Charlie Bates followed and took over second. Schneider would take the victory with Bates in second. Tanner Berge slipped by Moore with four laps to go to get the final podium spot. Brad Warthan rounded out the top five.

With his fourth-place finish, Tanner Berge won the 2026 NASCAR 602 Outlaw Late Model championship.

Alex Ruedinger of Larsen WI Captured the 2026 UMA 602 Late Model Rookie of the Year title at Dells Raceway Park

Wisconsin Dells WI-Grant Griesbach captured the Midwest Truck Series Falloween 50 Saturday Afternoon at Dells Raceway Park.

Tristan Swanson started on the pole for the 50-lap Midwest Truck Series season finale and would take the lead at the start. The first caution flew on lap 17 when Robbie Rucks got spun by Tanner Berge coming out of turn four. Berge did tap out, allowing Rucks to keep his eighth spot. On the restart, Grant Griesbach took the lead from Swanson, with Blake Brown taking over the second spot from Swanson. Griesbach would pull away from Brown over the last 33 laps to take the victory by 1.948 seconds over Brown. Swanson was third, with Moyer in fourth and James Lynch in fifth.

Swanson’s third-place finish was enough for him to secure the 2026 Midwest Truck Series title.

MAJESKI TAKES DELLS FALLOWEEN 100

Wisconsin Dells, WI - After rushing home from his fourth-place finish in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Talladega, Ty Majeski didn’t need much practice time to secure his fourth Falloween 100 win in the Alive for 5 Super Late Model Series on Saturday afternoon at Dells Raceway Park in Wisconsin Dells, WI.

Jesse Bernhagen and Jevin Gurlaski battled it out in the opening laps of the Falloween 100, with Gurlaski able to break away on lap five to take the lead.

On lap 8, Ty Majeski was up to second and quickly chasing down Gurlaski for the top spot. Majeski used the outside lane to get by and take over the lead on lap 11.

First caution flew on lap 11 for debris in turn four. Majeski would continue to lead on the restart with Gabe Sommers getting by Gurlaski for the second spot.

Caution came out on lap 22 when Penn Sauter and Bernhagen made contact in turns three and four. Bernhagen tapped out, allowing Sauter to keep his seventh spot.

Majeski would once again lead on the restart, but this time Gurlaski was holding on to the second spot.

A lap later, the third caution would fly as Ridge Oien spun in turn one. The green flew with 77 to go with Majeski out front and Sommers getting the second spot easily over Gurlaski.

The fourth caution flew on lap 33 when Bernhagen came to a stop on the backstretch and would go off on the hook.

Majeski would lead Gurlaski, Sommers, Penn Sauter, and Luke Fenhaus on the restart. The former NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion continued to lead until another caution flew on lap 51 when Wyatt Brooks spun in turns three and four.

Just like the last restarts, Majeski continues to lead at the restart with Gurlaski, Sommers, Sauter, and fast qualifier Casey Johnson in fifth.

Sauter would make a late charge, getting by Gurlaski with six laps to go for the second spot, but Majeski had a 1.893-second lead.

The third-generation driver would get within 1.513 seconds but come up short as Majeski becomes a four-time winner for the Falloween fall race event.

Casey Johnson’s fifth-place finish guaranteed his third Alive for 5 championship (2020, 2025, 2026).
