Each Christmas season, our dancers take the stage for a special charity performance, with proceeds benefiting a chosen local organization. It’s our way of teaching them to be grateful for the gift of dance—and to use that gift to help others. ❤️

Valerie Smith • Owner & Director of Dance Delaware Studios
For Miss Val, dance has never simply been about steps—it has always been about creating a place where children can grow, belong, dream, and become confident in who they are.
With more than three decades of experience as a professional dancer, choreographer, educator, and director, Miss Val brings a lifetime of knowledge and passion to Dance Delaware. But of all the stages she has performed on and accomplishments she has achieved, her greatest role is helping young dancers discover everything they are capable of becoming. 💙
For 18 years, she has poured her heart into creating more than a dance studio—she has created a Dance Delaware family.
