Lake Conroe Sailing Association will be hosting its annual Intro to Sailing class on Saturday, June 14th from 10am until 1pm.

Note: If signing up as a family, please register each family member individually.

Details of the event:
Saturday, June 14th from 10:00am to 1:00pm at the Montgomery County Central Library (Conroe Branch)

The class is free, and will cover the basics of sailing, including:

-Parts of a sail and sailboat
-Basic seamanship (knot tying, rules-of-the-road, sailboat maneuvering, rigging)
-Safety, terminology, equipment
-Weather

If wind and weather permit, we may try and take interested participants out on a sailboat, so the can put into practice what they learned in class.
