Snow scored more offensive points than Trinity Valley in their first meeting and still lost. A safety, a blocked field-goal return and an interception return helped the Cardinals win 39–30.

Moving from Division II to Division I could soon cost nearly $12 million just to apply.

The NCAA is considering a sixfold increase in its reclassification fee, potentially creating a major obstacle for Division II schools with FCS aspirations.

But the financial consequences could extend well beyond those schools, especially if another round of realignment leaves FCS conferences scrambling to replace departing members.
