Some of the prettiest Marlin chair rods heading out! These works of art will be fishing in the BVI’s, east coast of Florida, and even up here in New England!
Our marlin rods are designed specific for this unique, and demanding fishery. The amount of thought, planning, and care we have spent years developing is wild. Even going to the extent of jumping on planes to fly all over, solely to gain feedback and input from some of the best.
They have tons of lifting power up twords the top, oversized Winthrop roller guides to accommodate oversized line/hardware clearance, and just the right length for leverage. When you have a Million+ dollar fish on the other end, there is absolutely zero excuse or room for failure!

Our Tuna Chunking Rod almost feels like a toy in your hands, until you put it to work!

Built around our exclusive, hand-made blank manufactured right here in the USA, this rod is incredibly light, responsive, and just plain fun to fish — while still having the strength and durability to put serious pressure on tuna.

Whether you’re playing with smaller yellowfin or leaning into a better class of fish, these rods make the fight an absolute blast.

Load it up with 50 or 65lb braid on a size 12 or 16 reel, and you’re off to the races!

Finally — a rod you can stand up and fight Bluefin, Bigeye, and Yellowfin with, but also drop into the rod holder and fight the fish from there when needed.

They’re extremely easy to handle when setting the spread, clearing lines, and moving around the boat, but when it’s time to put the heat on a fish, they have the power to get the job done.

We built these with oversized Winthrop roller guides for added line clearance and paired them with a #4 Winthrop adjustable butt, giving you the versatility and confidence to fish them across a wide range of offshore applications.

Ideal for guys who don’t want to mess around — put pressure on the fish and get them to the boat.

Our new 7’2” XXH Giant Bluefin Casting Rod was built around our main concept, High-Stick Load Management.

This rod is meant to be fought in a high-stick fashion, letting the blank load deep into its power reserve and taking all of the heat and pressure from the fish. More leverage, less fatigue, and a ton of lifting power.

We then kept the tip responsive enough to properly work baits and lures, and went with oversized running guides so heavier PE and braid can move through the rod effortlessly and have improved long distance casting.

From the Outer Banks to New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Cape Cod, this rod was built for one thing — big giant bluefin.

Tradition standup rods have always been big, clunky fiberglass poles and we have changed that.

Extreme lifting power. Exceptional balance. Premium finishes. Built for serious trolling programs from the Northeast canyons and beyond. All exclusive to us here at ZCR!

ZCR Carbon Tournament Series.
Technology you can feel when the rod loads up.
