Congratulations to Oona Weine, the winner of the 2026 United We Row Design Contest! 🎉

Oona’s winning design brings the phrase “United We Row” to life through the people, equipment, and experiences that connect our sport. Featuring rowers and coxswains of diverse races, genders, ages, abilities, and identities, the artwork celebrates the sense of belonging and community that rowing creates year-round.

A 16-year-old coxswain from RFH Rowing in Rumson, New Jersey, Oona drew inspiration from her own experiences in the sport and the teammates, traditions, and shared moments that make rowing special.

“My design spells out ‘United We Row’ using familiar elements of the sport that all athletes recognize. More importantly are the different people. Rowers and coxswains of diverse races, genders, ages, abilities, and identities are all brought together through a shared love and commitment to this team sport.”

The winning design will debut on official United We Row merchandise online and at the 2026 USRowing Youth National Championships.

USRowing and Broadridge Financial Solutions have teamed up with 776BC to launch a first-of-its-kind jersey collaboration ahead of the 2026 USRowing Youth National Championships. 🚣⚽️

This first-of-its-kind sponsorship activation for USRowing blends the energy of international sport culture with the spirit of the rowing community, while celebrating the arrival of the 2026 FIFA Men's World Cup in the United States this summer.

The limited-edition jersey will debut at Youth Nationals and be available in limited quantities onsite at Nathan Benderson Park.

Pre-orders are also open through the 776BC website throughout the Youth National Championships event, closing at the end of the day on Sunday, June 14.

The road to Duisburg starts now. 🇺🇸

USRowing has invited 57 athletes to the 2026 Under 23 National Team Selection Camp, where they will compete for spots on the boats that will represent the United States at the World Rowing Under 23 Championships this July in Duisburg, Germany.

Twelve athletes return from last year’s U23 World Championships team, joined by four athletes who represented the United States at the 2025 World Rowing Under 19 Championships.

Under the leadership of Head Coach Sergio Espinoza, the U23 program looks to build on the momentum of 2025, highlighted by the men’s four capturing the first-ever U.S. gold medal in the event at the World Rowing Under 23 Championships.

USRowing is now accepting nominations for the Northeast Regional Representative seat on the Board of Directors.

This special election will fill the current term through February 2029 and provides Northeast Region members the opportunity to elect their representative on the Board.

🗓️ Nomination deadline: June 22, 2026
🗳️ Voting opens: July 13, 2026
✅ Term begins: August 1, 2026

Eligible candidates must be USRowing members and complete all SafeSport requirements prior to running for office.
