June 6 – D-Day Remembrance 🇺🇸

Today, we pause to remember the brave men who stormed the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944. Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering determination changed the course of history and helped preserve the freedoms we enjoy today.

At West Point Country Club, we honor the heroes who served, those who gave their lives, and all who answered the call of duty.

As we enjoy time with family and friends, let us take a moment to reflect on the tremendous sacrifices made by the Greatest Generation.

We remember. We honor. We are grateful.

Lest we forget. 🇺🇸

Course Update for Saturday

The golf course will be open Saturday; however, please be aware that green maintenance will be taking place throughout the day.

Our crew will be sanding the greens as part of our ongoing efforts to keep them healthy, smooth, and in great playing condition. You may notice maintenance equipment and workers on the course throughout the day.

We kindly ask that you play around the maintenance crews whenever possible. Stopping work every time a group approaches can significantly slow down the process, and we want to complete the work efficiently while minimizing disruption to your round.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue investing in the quality of the course. These maintenance practices help ensure better greens for everyone to enjoy in the weeks ahead.

Good morning from WPCC!

We spend a lot of time showing off our beautiful golf course, but today we’d like to give a little love to the inside of the clubhouse as well.

While there may not be a course picture this morning, there is plenty happening behind the scenes. Our team is hard at work cleaning and waxing the clubhouse floors in preparation for a class reunion this Saturday. Just like we work to keep the grass in great shape, we take pride in keeping the clubhouse looking its best too.

Did you know the clubhouse is available to rent for a variety of events? From class reunions and family gatherings to meetings, showers, and celebrations, WPCC offers a beautiful setting for your special occasion. Members may reserve through the clubhouse, while non-members will need to contact the office for board approval.

We hope everyone has a wonderful day. Stay cool, stay hydrated, and don’t forget to sign up for the Friday Night Scramble!
