🚨 KYLE PONTE IS BACK! 🚨

We are SO excited to welcome Kyle Ponte back to The Dance Collective on June 14th for another incredible workshop experience!

Kyle will be creating multiple competition pieces for our 2026–2027 season, and dancers interested in being considered for a Kyle Ponte piece MUST attend this workshop. There will be no separate audition.

Not interested in competition team? This workshop is still an amazing opportunity to train with one of the industry’s best. Kyle brings unmatched energy, knowledge, creativity, and professionalism to every class he teaches.

Please note: Dancers selected for competition pieces must be enrolled in our Pre-Professional Program to officially join the competition team.

There are truly not enough words to express how grateful we are to have Michael “Mikey” Cusumano as part of The Dance Collective family

To have someone of his caliber… an ABT legend with decades of professional experience, travel all the way from NYC month after month to pour into our students is something we never take for granted.

But beyond the titles and accomplishments, what makes Mikey so special is who he is as a person. He believes in healthy training environments. He believes in kindness, discipline, artistry, and building dancers up rather than tearing them down.

Our dancers are learning not only incredible ballet training from him, but also what it means to be a good human in this industry.

We are SO excited and thankful that Mikey will continue on faculty with us next year. Having him as part of our team is something incredibly rare, and we know just how lucky we are.

Thank you, Mikey, for believing in our students, our vision, and our studio family. We love you dearly!

☀️ Summer 2026 Camps & Intensives ☀️

Registration is open and we still have some spots available for this summer’s camps and intensives! Last summer was such an incredible experience, and we saw so much growth, confidence, improvement, and joy in every dancer who walked through our doors. 💫

Our summer programs are the perfect way for dancers to stay active, keep progressing, build friendships, and grow their technique in a positive and supportive environment.

✨ Day Camps (Ages 3–8)
8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Each themed week includes ballet, tap, jazz, gymnastics, games, crafts, and creative activities designed to keep our youngest dancers moving and having fun all summer long!

✨ Dance Intensives (Ages 9–Adult)
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Focused training in ballet, tap, contemporary, hip hop, and jazz. These intensives are always such an amazing opportunity for dancers to strengthen technique, challenge themselves, and improve so much in just one week.

Spots are limited in every session to give dancers individualized attention and the best possible experience. Some weeks are already filling quickly!

What a successful weekend for The Dance Collective ✨
We are so proud of our dancers and everything they brought to the stage this weekend — not just the awards, but the hard work, growth, artistry, and support they showed one another every step of the way ❤️
✨ Solo Results: 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 9th, and 10th Overall
✨ Group Results: 1st, 2nd, and 4th Overall
✨ Plus… we won the Contemporary Improv Challenge!
Beyond the placements, what makes us proudest is watching our dancers perform with heart, confidence, and humility. Small but mighty always 💫
A huge thank you to our incredible choreographers, Kyle Ponte, Jakob Karr and Thayne Jasperson, for continuing to pour your talent, creativity, and knowledge into our dancers. We are endlessly grateful for the opportunity our students have to learn and grow from artists of your caliber ❤️

Teacher Appreciation Post 💙

We are beyond lucky to have someone like Michael Cusumano travel all the way from NYC to work with our dancers here at The Dance Collective.

Michael brings not only incredible talent, knowledge, and professionalism into the studio, but also kindness, patience, and genuine care for every student he teaches. Having the opportunity to train with someone of his caliber is something truly special, and our dancers grow every single time he walks into the room.

From ABT repertoire to the smallest technical corrections, he pushes our students to work harder, dance smarter, and believe in themselves. The inspiration and mentorship he provides goes far beyond dance steps.

Thank you, Michael, for continuing to pour your time, energy, and artistry into our dancers. We appreciate you more than words can say, and our studio is better because of you!
