with … ? Anyway out in Central PA for the week of 6/5/26 - Green drakes are pretty much done for the year, but the hatches are still going strong. Fish are feeding in all sorts of water, and if they aren’t eating on top be sure to drop a nymph down to them. Give the shop a call with any questions - we’ll see you out there!

Eastern PA wild brown trout with .curry40 . This fish was hanging out in a small but deep hole with lots of wood structure. Spots like this often can produce some of the biggest trout of the day.

Central PA waterways often garner most of the attention, but there is a ton of amazing water across the entire state that is worth exploring.

The All Fins In Fly Fishing Grand Prix is back. Grab a partner, hit any water in the state you can get to, and stack as many species as you can before time runs out. Only your biggest fish per species counts, so plan accordingly.

with this weeks 5/28/26 Central PA Fishing Report

Penns is loaded with green drakes right now and they are all in the good trout water from Coburn and Ingleby down through Poe Paddy. Bugs are going to be phenomenal all weekend. Wherever you see the drakes, the fish are going to be there. Stay late because the hatch is best in the evening. Conditions on the J are still running a little high so drakes are kind of wrapped up there. Spring Creek has lots of sulphurs going off and Fishing Creek has all sorts of bugs happening as well.

Now is the time to get out and fish!

with this weeks 5/21/26 Central PA Fishing Report

This is the week for green drakes in Central PA. They are popping everywhere right now. Already seeing them on lower Penns and they should be moving up into Poe Paddy in the next couple days. George was out on the J tonight and had them flying around, so they are here and they are in the air. Get out and get your drake fix while you can. Sulphurs and march browns are also going strong along with everything else under the sun.

One thing to keep an eye on this week is rain. An inch to possibly two inches is expected over the next couple days. Nothing should get completely blown out but expect things to get up and a little dirty. Check your gauges before you head out and it should remain fishable.
