George Costa with this weeks 9/11/26 Central PA Fishing report.

Water levels have come down to fishable levels since our recent high water event. There is some more rain in the forecast so be sure to check the gauges and expect high and off color water across the region.

Upper spring creek is dirty and off color and will continue to be for a week or so due to stream improvements in houserville.

If you are able to get out on the water try smaller nymphs, terrestrials, dry dropper, or streamers in the higher water.

We are getting some rain here in Central PA, but this should only help our late summertime levels. Look to fish maybe this Saturday into Sunday unless we get more rain. Fishing has been good in mornings and evenings, just be sure to check those gauges in the coming days to make sure the water has dropped to fishable levels.
