Discover the Power of Performance with Wattbike Training

​Join us for an exclusive workshop on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Maverick Community Weho, where we’ll explore the cutting-edge performance metrics with Wattbike, led by Thomson Remo and Christian from Maverick.

​The Wattbike is a transitional tool used for converting the strength developed in the weight room to output displayed on the playing field. This system is designed to familiarize athletes with the sensation of cycling on an ergometer while helping them understand critical metrics. The testing & training sessions are intended to enable athletes to maximize muscle mass and anaerobic qualities while minimizing impact-related mechanical stress. Power is the ultimate performance metric, as it combines strength and speed in a singular resultant.

​In this course, you will learn how to:

​- Test an athlete’s power output capability

​- Examine an athlete’s force-velocity profile

​- Determine how to improve an athlete’s output by addressing areas of deficiency

​In the corresponding demonstrations, you will witness:

​- Athlete set-up (mounting bike, starting session)

​- Verbal description of objectives

​- Coaching cues (pre- and intra-session)

​- Observation points (positioning, technique)

​- Data logging with Wattbike Hub app or other

​- Verbal feedback to athlete

​- Session review - potential future objectives

​- Goal setting based upon recent performance

​As a former professional cyclist, Thomson Remo will guide you through the workshop, offering his expert insights and answering all your questions about the equipment and its methodology.

​This workshop is free and open to all physical therapists and performance specialists, regardless of prior experience with Wattbike training.

​Please note, to ensure a quality experience for all attendees, we are limiting this workshop to 25 participants. The session will start at 10 am and end at 12 pm. We recommend RSVPing as soon as possible.

​Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early for check-in and parking. We provide garage parking with validation.

Join us for an exclusive workshop on Saturday, June 9, 2024, at Maverick Community Weho, where you’ll discover the future of fitness with Reaxing’s revolutionary Reaxboard. Led by Reaxing’s Director of Education, Jeremy Strong, this event offers physical therapists and personal trainers a chance to explore groundbreaking methods that could transform your practice.

In this immersive two-hour session, you’ll gain hands-on experience with the Reaxboard. Reaxing’s cutting-edge training methodology embraces unpredictability, a key element in both life and sports. This dynamic approach focuses on preparing for unforeseen circumstances, enhancing performance, and reducing injury risk. By leveraging our sensory system’s ability to respond to sudden environmental changes, it refines motor skills through categorizing impulses as interferences and stimuli, ensuring a comprehensive training experience.
