I made it back out on water today after my 12 day recovery from my little health scare I had. I think the walleyes missed me. They were willing biters and even the weather was cool, which is how I like it. Today was a perfect day to enjoy what has been provided to us. 2nd day for this family group. Terry somehow gets wear the World Walleye Federation Championship belt for another year by catching the biggest walleye of the trip!! I believe thats 3 or 4 years out of 6. Lots of fish were caught to get these nice limits. The action is incredible and the guides have been putting in some work to pull out the limits. Very good day.on the water. I have never had two big fish bite so close together. Like 30 seconds apart. The truely amazing thing was Dave did have the big fish in the boat for the day when Mindy caught hers. Which put her in the lead fir about 30 seconds. Then Dave caught one that was 2.5 inches bigger than hers. It was a fun day with plenty of nice fish for the limit. Call us at 605-680-1910 to book a fishing trip. Boys came home yesterday from the Memorial Day weekend and the question was asked to their mom "When is Jim going to take us fishing?" At 9:30 we put the plan in place to go fishing today. We caught a lot of fish today plus these delicious keepers. Guess what's for supper for the boys. Glad we made it out as I am not sure when we could have made it work later in the summer. These boys from Nebraska were done with school for the year at 1:00 yesterday and were on the road to start their summer vacation, with a fishing trip. Today was a little chilly with a slow start, but when the weather warmed up a bit the boys and fish became active. They get to do it again tomorrow.
