This past weekend I had the honor of placing 4th at the USATF Masters Pentathlon. Competing at this level isn’t just about talent — it’s about discipline, consistency, sacrifice, and believing in yourself when nobody else sees the early mornings and late nights.

Every event tested me — hurdles, jumps, throws, and the 1000m — but the biggest test was the commitment to show up every single day and do the work.

I share this not to boast, but to remind you that age is not a limitation — mindset is. Whether you’re 25, 45, or 65, you can set goals, train with purpose, and become stronger than you were yesterday.
