The golf course will be conducting some tree trimming on certain holes starting today, Wednesday August 5, certain holes may be closed or shortened while crews are working, please bear with us and please do not attempt to play a hole that has been closed for the safety of the crews working!

The Weimar VFD is preparing for our 20th annual 3 person scramble golf tournament on July 11th. See details below on flyer. There will be a 50/50 drawing and we’ll be drawing our sportsman’s raffle winners at the end of the tournament. Tickets will be available soon from any Weimar firefighter.

WPD would like to inform residents of the rules regarding golf cart operation within city limits, as outlined in our new Golf Cart Ordinance. Please help us keep our streets safe by following all requirements. Here are a few key pieces to remember:

✅ Golf carts must be registered and display a license plate issued by the Texas DMV.
✅ 𝑶𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒔 𝒎𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒂 𝒗𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒅 𝒅𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓’𝒔 𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒆.
✅ Golf carts are to be driven only on streets with a posted speed limit of 35 mph or less.
✅ All traffic laws apply—this includes stop signs, right-of-way, and no open container violations.
✅ Carts must have working headlights, tail lights, and reflectors.
