STOCK CAR DRIVERS — HAVE YOU SIGNED UP YET?

The 13th Annual USRA Nationals at Lucas Oil Speedway is coming up September 30-October 3, and we wanted to explain the new Stock Car format a little better. There is a lot of racing and some great money available throughout the week.

And here is something worth thinking about — even if you run last every night, you are still guaranteed at least $340. Obviously nobody is coming to run last, but we wanted to put money throughout the field and give everybody plenty of opportunities to race.

WEDNESDAY

We will start things off with double heat races, using the same format as the Modifieds. Everybody gets two heat races Wednesday night.

THURSDAY

Thursday we start working through the mains.

E-Main — Winner goes directly to the A-Main, 2nd through 9th advance to the D-Main and all other starters receive $80.

D-Main — Winner goes directly to the A-Main, 2nd through 9th advance to the C-Main and all other starters receive $85.

C-Main — Winner goes directly to the A-Main, 2nd through 9th advance to the B-Main and all other starters receive $90.

B-Main — Top 5 advance to the A-Main and all other starters receive $100.

Thursday A-Main pays:

$1,000-700-500-400-300-250-225-200-175-150-125-120-115-110 to start.

FRIDAY

Friday everybody gets another opportunity as we will run 3 or 4 A-Mains. Each one pays:

$500-400-300-250-225-200-175-150-125-120-115-110 to start.

That means 3 or 4 different Stock Car feature winners Friday night, each taking home $500.

SATURDAY

Saturday is Championship Night and this is where everything comes together.

We will run two D-Mains with the top 6 from each advancing to the C-Mains. Non-transfer payouts are $200-190-180-170-160-150 to start.

We will run two C-Mains with the top 8 from each advancing to the B-Mains. Non-transfer payouts are $200-190-180-175 to start.

We will then run two B-Mains with the top 6 from each advancing to the A-Main. Non-transfer payouts are $300-250-240-230-220-210-200 to start.

Then it is time for the big one.

30 STOCK CARS — THREE-WIDE — 40 LAPS

Saturday's A-Main pays:

$4,000-2,500-2,000-1,500-1,200-1,000-900-800-750-700-675-650-625-600-575-550-540-535-530-525-520-515-510-505-500 to start.

We changed this format because we want drivers racing. There are opportunities to move forward throughout the week, plenty of feature racing and money being paid throughout the field.

If everything goes wrong and you run last every night, you still leave with at least $340. If things go right, there is some great money waiting for you.

USRA MODIFIEDS — $5,000 TO WIN THE BIG SHOW!

Have you signed up yet? Don’t wait — fans want to see who is coming to the USRA Nationals!

Four days of racing, National Points Wednesday and at least $385 in feature money even if absolutely nothing goes your way.

The 13th Annual USRA Nationals are September 30-October 3 at Lucas Oil Speedway, and we have put together a Modified format that keeps you racing throughout the week and rewards you for every position.

WEDNESDAY — DOUBLE HEATS

Every Modified runs two heat races using passing points. Both heats count toward USRA National Points, and your passing points determine where you line up Thursday.

THURSDAY

C-Main winner goes directly to the A-Main. Positions 2-9 advance to the B-Main. Remaining C-Main starters receive $100.

B-Main positions 1-7 advance to the A-Main. Remaining starters receive $110.

A-Main — $1,000 to win, $125 to start:
$1,000 - $800 - $700 - $600 - $500 - $400 - $350 - $300 - $275 - $250 - $225 - $200 - $175 - $150 - $140 - $135 - $130 - $125.

FRIDAY — TWO A-MAINS, SAME MONEY

Every Modified driver will compete in one of two A-Mains Friday night, with both paying the exact same purse.

Each A-Main — $700 to win, $110 to start:
$700 - $500 - $400 - $300 - $275 - $250 - $225 - $200 - $175 - $150 - $140 - $130 - $125 - $120 - $115 - $110.

SATURDAY — THE BIG SHOW

Points accumulated Wednesday, Thursday and Friday determine Saturday's lineups.

C-Main positions 1-12 advance to the B-Mains. 13th receives $250, 14th $200 and 15th-24th $175.

There will be two B-Mains with the top six from each advancing to the Big Dance.

Non-transfer B-Main payout:
$300 - $250 - $225 - $220 - $215 - $210 - $205 - $200 to start.

THE BIG SHOW — $5,000 TO WIN AND $550 TO START

$5,000 - $3,000 - $2,000 - $1,700 - $1,500 - $1,200 - $1,100 - $1,000 - $900 - $800 - $750 - $700 - $675 - $650 - $625 - $600 - $590 - $580 - $570 - $560 - $555 - $550.

And here is something worth thinking about: even if absolutely nothing goes your way, making the call each night guarantees you at least $385 in feature money over Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Four days of racing. Two National Points heats Wednesday. Everybody races an A-Main Friday. And it all leads to $5,000 to win Saturday night.
