Let me know if there are any mistakes in results. We couldn't ready everyone's handwriting so I'd like to update those and some people left their age off the race form, so we couldn't assign them to the appropriate age group.

Pictures will be posted later. Please tag us in any pictures you took since i wasn't able to get as many as we have had in years past!!

This 4th of July, we honor the spirit of independence and togetherness. Celebrate safely! 🎆

76 degrees and sunny by 8am tomorrow (feels like 81). 80 degrees and feels like 85 by 9:00 am. MAKE SURE YOU BRING WATER AND START HYDRATING TONIGHT!!!

Starting at 6:30 am
There will be two check-in lines tomorrow. PRE-REGISTERED runners who already paid will go to the left to pick up their race packets.

Runners who are registering day-of-race will go to the right and fill out a registration form and pay $25 each for the 5k (t-shirts and race goody bags while supplies last).

5k Race begins at 8am.
Kids Fun Run is FREE and begins about 9:00 am with an awards ceremony for everyone to follow around 9:15 am.

Prizes for top 3 in each age group. STICK AROUND!

The Fourth of July is almost here, and we want everyone to enjoy the holiday safely and responsibly.

Webster City Fire Chief Stansfield reminds everyone to keep the following fireworks guidelines in mind while celebrating in Webster City:

Fireworks may only be discharged on the following dates and times:
• July 3, 4, & 5 from 9 AM to 11 PM
• Fireworks are not permitted at any other time in July.

Other important reminders:
• Fireworks must be discharged on your own property or with written permission from the property owner.
• You must be 18 or older to use fireworks.
• Do not use fireworks while intoxicated or under the influence.
• You are personally responsible for the operation and consequences of your fireworks use.

Let’s keep this Independence Day safe and enjoyable for everyone!

Our last thank you before the big day, goes out to Hy-Vee for their monetary donation towards our post-race snacks!!

YES we will have some bananas, watermelon, bottled water and delicious fresh baked cookies :)

RACE DAY REGISTRATION BEGINS AT 7:00 AM ON FRIDAY MORNING AT THE WEST TWIN PARK SHELTER. $25 PER PERSON.

** We are still in need of some volunteers to assist with registration, our water stop, and playing some music at both ends of the trail to lift our runners spirits!!! ;) **
