Saturday the HTR crew raced at Loco Joe's R/C Speedway. Weather condition were good other than some wind.

Fun day racing with friends John Crowfis Jr, Mike OBrien, Jack Todd & Jimmy, Jh Cole, Dan Danchik, Christopher Weishaar, Warren Kenter, Donnie Franklin & Black Cloud!

Track was prepped and ready and we started right on time, hats off to the Track Crew Willis Gordon, and the rest of those that helped out.

Joe Vanorsdale you missed some good back and forth racing, but we understand “Toes in the sand”
Thank you for giving us a great place to race & get dirty!

HTR had some pretty amazing results this weekend. Let’s get down to the podium finishes.

Richie Krenzer: 4 Car podium finish and should have had all 5 but puff the magic dragon on your Losi Sprint ESC sucked!

3rd Place in Losi NASCAR, 2nd Place in Bandit Late Model, TQ & 1st Place in Buggy Street Stock & TQ and 2nd Place in Traxxas Modified. (Sry buddy for getting loose in front of ya)

Chad Rodkey: 1st Place in Losi NASCAR

Jeremy Gehrett: 3rd Place in Bandit Late Model & TQ and 2nd Place in BL2 Mudboss.

Rob Myers: I put 4 cars on the podium and should had my nascar there as well but the nascar hit a few bumps along the way.

TQ and 1st Place in the Bandit Late Model, Losi Sprint 2nd place, 1st Place Traxxas Modified, 1st Place in BL2 Mudboss & the Losi NASCAR for me a TQ & DNF.

Fun day of racing for sure, back to the grind to get them ready for some Old Mill RC Raceway action.

Podium pictures will be updated once available, in the meantime take a look at the TQ plaque that was created and will be awarded to the driver with the most TQ at the end of the season! Donated by HTR.

Great racing action yesterday at Loco Joe's R/C Speedway for the Rodney Franklin Memorial Race sponsored by Donnie Franklin. It was awesome learning the history of Rodney and the amount wins(over 300) he had as a Late Model Dirt track driver. I believe his nickname was “The Virginia Leadfoot”

Mother Nature must not like RC oval racing as she always has that four letter word that us racers don’t like “RAIN”. We had a small rain delay but the track crew reminded me of a Major League Baseball crew and had them tarps on the track and covered in light night speed. Thank You to Willis Gordon, Warren Kenter, and the rest of the track crew for prepping the track Friday and all you did on race day!

Thank you Joe Vanorsdale and Loco Joe's Hobbies for giving us a great place to race and have fun!

Thank you Mama Loco & Brooke for running the snack shack. Y’all’s BBQ Pork was BANGING!!! I got my cheesy fries too.
