We want to congratulate all of the lifters in Saturdays meet on April 11th 2026. As always and expect the crew did what they do best. Lift heavy, set records, and made people remember who they were.

Having two first timers competing along side teammates who have done meets before.
Everyone lifted some awesome weight.
The ladies on this crew are strong and straight savages.
The dudes we build are built for conflict and heavy weights.
The best about this meet was ALL LIFTERS WERE DRUG FREE and still out squatted a poser who runs tons of gear with a s**t program, not knowing how to train correctly and being full of estrogen .
We brought home more medals and the best over all was a female lifter.

Tiffany was the strongest woman there yesterday. This girl crushed it yesterday and was able to be the first full time crew member to bring home BEST OVERALL LIFTER.

Everyone yesterday did the same program that we always used, trained the same days, did the same movements, and guess what… it worked. Real work, real weights, real methods. No RPE trash no IG influencer bs. Just hard training, long sessions, with heavy weights, tons of volume, and REAL experience. And no one backed out or quit.

When we say we build strong people we truly do. We are a REAL crew who all train together and do the same thing. Just not train at the same gym. East Coast is the place to go to get the best out of yourself inside the gym.

Weight ins are finished. Re fueled and ready for tomorrow’s meet.

We didn’t post anything for the entire 12 week prep. These lifters are the best we ever brought to a meet. This crew is the strongest it’s ever been. This comp has only the best in the gym. No BS no drama and no weak emotions.

In just six months all of the lifters are opening with numbers 10-15 pounds more than what they ended with six months ago at their last meet. They’re projected to add 60-100 pounds to their totals in just six months.

The way these ladies and gentlemen trained, stayed on track, with zero distractions has shown during this prep.

Everyone is ready for tomorrow and we wish them the best of luck.

Lift heavy, take everything, leave nothing to question.

We want to give a huge shout out to our athlete Pierce. He competed in his first PRO powerlifting competition in the at Odins Fury in Virginia Beach. This is a huge accomplishment for a 24 year old.

He worked hard for this meet. Even being down in North Carolina and being guided from us and others he still showed up and made sure everyone knew who he was at the end of the meet.

All of these numbers were done DRUG TESTED. He finished the day off with first in the junior division and second overall.

His number were all done raw with wraps

Squat: 661.4
Bench: 352.7
Deadlift: 690
Total: 1704.1

Seeing this young man lift these numbers drug free at his age is awesome to see.

Congrats on this milestone and achievement.

We build strong people and we make strong people even stronger. If you want to be your best version in the gym. The Asylum is the only place in the surrounding area to make it happen.

Devin crushing this squat.
FIRST time ever having 600
Pounds on his back as a NATURAL lifter and he got it while sitting at 230 body weight. His goal for this squat was to hit 555. After smoking 505 we jumped right to 600. We knew 555 was a guarantee after him obliterating 505 pounds. The team loaded the 55lb Texas Squat bar up to 600 pounds for his max set.

His best squat before this was 485. He follows our guidelines, the methods, intensity and the results literally display themselves.

After coming from plant fitness and In less then a year, under our watch and methods his NATURAL strength shows with a
600 raw squat with wraps
345 raw bench
545 raw deadlift

Mind you he came from a plant fitness and was very limited on what he could do there. He showed up saying he wanted to get stronger. We showed him the way and he took off.

We build real strength for the lifters who actually wanna get better. We PAY our dues when they need PAID. We don’t care about your soft feelings, or your background. If you want to take your strenght to a place you didn’t think existed. Then you know The Asylum is the only place for that to happen.

Gym closing down

Hello everyone,

We have made the decision East Coast Training Asylum has came to an end. It has been a fun ride the last 3 years.
But we have out our grown the time and effort with being able to put 100% inside this as what was originally planned too.

We are currently still operating while trying sell equipment off. So it is still open for as long as it can be.

We want to thank everyone who was with us from day one and the members we gained along the with the friendship’s that they provided us with over the last couple of years.

From competitions together, nationals, training, the crew, and the current amazing people inside of our building. We are forever thankful for the support and loyalty you provided us. The loyal of those who still come to the gym and backed our movement are the reason we were able to do what we did for as long as we did.

We want to wish everyone the best of luck in life with their personal goals, and fitness goals. Stay strong and lift heavy

Thank you,
East Coast Training Asylum

Good morning everyone.

The gas leak is cleared and safe to enter the building again.

Third street is currently being repaired due to the leak being under ground.

But the gym is open. We are currently using the ally behind the house on third street near the dog groomer on the corner to get to our parking lot.

The gym is open. UGI and the fire department cleared it and gave the green light for people to start entering the building.

We are beyond proud to have one of our youngest athlete and a solid friend to have gotten this invite to PRO day.

At 23 years old 100% natural, drug tested, pound for pound the strongest dude inside the Asylum. This young man a Marine Crop veteran has lived a life most of us never experienced. When he showed up last year looking for a home and a train powerlifting gym. He pound in the work and started to grow.

With his best 1686 total and a best 461 for score is a solid achievement for this animal. How he trains, the intensity, the attitude he brings to the platform. We know he will bring something special to this meet.

We are glad to have you an apart of our team and inside our Asylum.

Crazy to think 3 years ago today we were moving everything into the gym to start the process to opening the doors to the public. With only a handful of people helping out to put the flooring down, putting together equipment, hanging mirrors etc.

In this time we’ve seen a lot of people come and a lot of people go. We wish everyone the best and thank those who are no longer apart of our Asylum family. Those who stayed and who joined us in our movement know the true and real meaning on this place.

It can be rough and unforgiving at times. If it wasn’t, none of would have gotten better. We strive to push each other, to continue to grow and to be stronger. It’s zero emotions just real training.

These pictures just continues to prove that we were built and not bought. We earned and worked for everything we offer and put out. Our athletes and members display that on a daily basis.

The gym has grown inside with not just new equipment or members. It’s grown into a name that people remember every time we leave a competition. Like us or hate us. We are changing the level of powerlifting and WE ARE MAKING WAYNESBORO STRONGER all done at the only true gym in Waynesboro and that’s at EAST COAST TRAINING ASYLUM.
