HOLLYWOOD IS BACK.
The Hollywood Drag Racing Pro Ultra 4.60 class is already one of the toughest battlegrounds in the Manufacturers Cup, and now another major storyline has entered the picture — the return of Broderick “Hollywood” Jackson. The man who helped elevate the Pro Ultra 4.60 class and has been one of its biggest supporters is making his 2026 season debut at the PowerTrain Inc. Nationals in Steele, Alabama.
Can he win?
That’s the question everyone is asking.
The competition is stacked. Defending class champion Tyron Lemons is looking to defend his crown. Mantez Thompson Sr. enters Steele as the current points leader after his Spring Nationals victory. Matt Smith sits second in points and is hungry to finish what he started after reaching the Gainesville final.
But if there’s one racer who understands pressure, big stages, and championship-caliber competition, it’s Hollywood. A former Pro Mod champion, world record holder, and one of the most influential figures in motorcycle drag racing, Jackson has spent years helping grow the sport while never losing his racer mentality.
Now the spotlight shifts to Steele.
Will Hollywood shake off the rust and make a deep run?
Will he silence the doubters and remind everyone why his name became synonymous with Pro Ultra 4.60 racing?
Or will the new generation of contenders prove that the class belongs to them?
One thing is certain:
When Broderick “Hollywood” Jackson rolls into the staging lanes, the Pro Ultra 4.60 class just got a lot more interesting.
