Day 1 of Camp Reveille 2026 in the books. As always the first day can be challenging. From fearful goodbyes to excited arrivals! This is one of the hardest weeks all year and yet we cannot wait for it.
The campers showed up ready to go, the counselors had the cabins ready for their arrival, and the park, well it just seems a little happier with kids running all over it!
From riding bikes, to playing on the water slides, to “fishing”, and getting some worship in, it was a successful first day!
A few thank-yous from today!
Thank you to the ladies from Magnolia House for coming out and talking with the campers. Thank you Ms. Heather from Magnolia House for supper on Sunday and counselor snacks!
Thank you GATX for donating Powerade to the camp.
Thank you Waycross Service League for lunch, supper and the Dilly Bars!
Thank you Riley Morris at Morris Inflatables for bringing us awesome slides!

This weeks activities included Spirit Week, relay races, obstacle courses, Oreo cookie challenges and Spirit Certificates in Summer Day Camp, water days for all, lemonade stand on the daycare side, bird watching and never ending fun and excitement!
