In addition to our All-Parish and All-District honors, we also had several athletes selected to the All-BRPTL Team. This recognition represents the very best players in the Baton Rouge Premier Tennis League, a league made up of 25 schools across our area.
These athletes were selected by the head coaches throughout the league based on their performance and success at their respective positions during the season. Whether in singles or doubles competition, being named to this team means you were considered one of the top players in our entire league at your level of competition.
The following athletes earned this outstanding honor:
Xander Vallejo - Boys Singles 2
Savannah Ducote - Girls Singles 1
Hannah Varnado - Girls Singles 2
Madison Haase and Cheryl Ni - Girls Doubles 2
Each year, in addition to the All-BRPTL Team, area coaches also select an All-Metro Team — a team made up of the very best tennis players in the Baton Rouge area, regardless of division or region. These athletes are chosen to represent the highest level of talent our area has to offer.
This year Live Oak Tennis had its first ever player elected to the All Metro Team. Congratulations to Logan Bernard on earning this honor!
