💙💛 LHSAA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP RECAP 💛💙
What an emotional ride in Bossier City. Our Eagles stepped onto the biggest stage in Louisiana and walked away with hardware, history, and hearts full of pride.
🥉 Josiah Sejour — 5th Place
Josiah battled through the backside with grit and resilience, fighting his way onto the podium. A true testament to toughness.
🥈 Billy Edmonston — State Runner-Up
Billy left every ounce of himself on the mat. His leadership, work ethic, and legacy have shaped this program in ways that go far beyond medals. He will forever be our champ on and off the mat.
🏆 Laken Griffin — STATE CHAMPION (Undefeated Season)
History made. Laken completed a perfect season and became Live Oak High School’s first-ever female state champion. A groundbreaking moment for our school and a performance that will inspire generations.
We couldn’t be more proud of every wrestler who stepped on the mat this season. The heart, the fight, the growth — it all showed.

Our Eagles are locked in and heading to Bossier City with several wrestlers seeded and ready to make a run. Months of grind, sweat, and sacrifice have led to this moment — now it’s time to bring home the hardware they’ve earned.

💪 JV SEASON FINALE — CITY CHAMPIONSHIPS 💪
Our JV wrestlers wrapped up their season this weekend at East Ascension High School, taking on tough competition and showing the kind of grit that defines Live Oak Wrestling.
They battled through adversity, rose to the moment, and brought home some well‑earned hardware.
🔹 David Guillory — 4th Place
Steady, determined, and improving every week.
🔹 Logan Tokohopie — 3rd Place
A senior return we were thrilled to see. Despite missing most of the season, Logan stepped back on the mat with heart, tenacity, and resilience.
🔹 Addison Borne — 1st Place
Capping off her freshman season with a championship performance. The future is bright.
We’re incredibly proud of every wrestler who competed, grew, and represented Live Oak with pride this year.

This year’s Louisiana Classic pushed our wrestlers to their limits. They battled through adversity, stayed locked in, and showed the kind of grit that defines Live Oak Wrestling.
When the dust settled, we crowned two Louisiana Classic Champions:

🏆 Laken Griffin
Proud of the fight, proud of the growth, and proud of the way our athletes represented. The Classic is one of the toughest tournaments in the Southeast, and our team rose to the challenge.
