We’re packing up the bats, the gloves, and every ounce of heart we’ve got because we’re headed to Dyersville — home of the Field of Dreams Tournament, where baseball isn’t just a game… it’s history, it’s magic, it’s legend.

This isn’t just another tournament.
This is a full weekend of battles against teams from across state lines, skills challenges, big moments, and bigger memories.

And if our boys grind, hustle, and play the way we KNOW they can…
đź’Ą they earn the right to play the championship game on the actual Field of Dreams movie site.
Yes — the field.
Where the corn whispers.
Where the ghosts walked out.
Where baseball became a story told for generations.

The boys get to show off their arms, their bats, their speed — all on the same ground where legends stepped out of the corn.

🔥 CORN SHUCKER HARLEY STEELE RECAP 🔥
Rain. Got. Us. AGAIN.
At this point the ACES might need to start charging Mother Nature rent because she will NOT leave us alone.

But even with the skies messing with the schedule, these boys showed up and battled.

They went 0–2 in pool play, both games tight enough to make your heart skip. Then they turned around and won the first bracket game 13–11, swinging like they had something to prove. They were lined up with a real shot to take the American bracket today… and then the rain said “nah.” CANCELLED.

One day — ONE DAY — we’re gonna finish a full bracket without a weather plot twist. Until then, these boys keep proving who they are: tough, gritty, and never out of the fight.

And to our ACES dads — Happy Father’s Day to the men who coach, cheer, carry gear, throw BP, tie cleats, and love these kids big. 💙💛

Saturday isn’t just “busy”… it’s BUCKLE‑UP BUSY. Two pool play games, all eyes on the scoreboard, and every pitch shaping what comes next. These matchups decide everything — seeding, momentum, and whether we roll straight into bracket play at 5 PM.

If the boys bring that Aces energy (and we know they will), we’re talking prime‑time bracket ball.

And Sunday?
All determined by seeding… and whether the weather decides to behave. Iowa skies, do your thing, chill and stay out of our way!

This is an AAA tournament, which means it’s gonna push our boys — grit, grind, gas pedal DOWN. Exactly the kind of weekend built for heart, hustle, and dads yelling from the fence.

Rain delays. Sudden cancellations. A bracket that never even got the chance to finish.

But when the dust (and mud) settled… we were still standing as the #2 seed — and that means we walked out with 2nd place.

And honestly? The boys EARNED every bit of it.

Our first bracket game was a statement.
We only allowed ONE run and played with every ounce of heart we had left after battling through pool play. The energy, the defense, the grit — it was all there. This squad showed exactly who they are when things get messy, wet, and unpredictable.

They showed up. They fought. They represented ACES baseball the right way.

Proud of this crew and how they handled a wild day.

The river was calm…
but the Aces weren’t.

They walked into the Cedar River Bash with that quiet, dangerous confidence — the kind you only earn by grinding, believing, and showing up when it matters. And today?
They didn’t just show up.
They took over.

Two games.

These boys showed up today with one mission: empty the tank. And they did exactly that.

🔥 Weekend Wrap‑Up: No Sugarcoating 🔥
The Aces went 2–2 for the weekend and took 3rd overall - but that's not the headline.

Even in a weekend where we left a ton of runners stranded, this squad still outscored every single team in the tournament.
đź’Ą Most runs. Period.

That’s an offense that doesn’t blink.
That’s pressure other teams feel.
That’s a lineup that can break a game open at any moment.

And Sunday? They didn’t just show up — they fought through straight‑up downpours in that first bracket game. Sheets of rain, soaked jerseys, sand that turned to dirt… and they still kept swinging, grinding, and pushing.

We’re rolling into the Prairie Hawk Classic in Fairfax this weekend, and the boys are ready to show up, swing big, and make some noise.

The ACES didn’t just show up today — they detonated all weekend going 5-0, scoring 59 total runs while only allowing 26! The bats and the defense was popping, energy sky‑high, and a squad that decided Mother’s Day was the PERFECT day to collect some hardware.

They swung for their moms.

They fought for every inning like the rings were already calling their names.
