A little extra love for our MOVE mamas. š
Working with prenatal and postpartum clients has always been one of my favorite parts of teaching Pilates. And now, experiencing pregnancy myself, I have a whole new appreciation for just how much the body goes through.
Pregnancy is HARDā¦.physically, mentally, and emotionally. And honestly a lot of what you see from influencers online is very far from the reality.
While Iāve spent years studying the changes our bodies experience during pregnancy, experiencing them firsthand has brought a new perspective to my work.
Prenatal Pilates is so much more than modifying exercises for a growing belly. Itās understanding those changes and meeting each woman where she is.
No two pregnancies look or feel the same. And neither should the movement that supports them.
Helping women feel strong, supported, and confident throughout pregnancy and postpartum has always been my goal. Now, that work feels even more personal.
Getting to walk alongside women through such a transformative season of life is something Iāll never take for granted. And this sweet MOVE mama is getting SO close to meeting her little one! Watching our MOVE families grow will forever be one of the most meaningful parts of what I do. š„¹š¼
Whether youāve experienced pregnancy yourself, are hoping to someday, or are simply curious, Iād love to open up the conversation. Whatās something you wish you knew, understood better, or could ask about pregnancy, postpartum, or movement through it all? š
