This post is not about an accomplishment of an Infringed competitor but rather the story of our friends and family of us competitors.
In the past 3 days the top point leaders in F-open and F/TR battled out in the finale at the Nra Whittington center near Raton NM. My hats off to Noah Burleson and James E Crofts for their respective victories.
They shot pair fire at 1000 yards in what was some remarkable conditions, high winds, angle changes, some even missing the target completely and coming out victorious.
This format eliminates the option of shooter range placement, relay discrepancies and such, you compete against your partner and either move on or down to the loser bracket. It’s not a point accumulation, nothing short of a battle.
Thanks Erik Cortina - Long Range Tod, Jay and the Mcdonald family for the years work making this all happen, as well as the revival of the Whittington center, some haven’t seen the beauty of that facility and hopefully the word will spread about the range and hopefully we can get a national event there again.
