Instructor Spotlight: Meet Zach! 🏊‍♂️

A collegiate swimmer at Wesleyan University, Zach brings years of competitive swimming experience and a passion for teaching. He specializes in beginner swim skills and stroke technique, helping swimmers build confidence and strong foundations in the water.

Based in East Hampton, Zach is excited to help students learn, grow, and enjoy the lifelong benefits of swimming! 🌊☀️

Swim Qualifications:
CPR + AED + First Aid Certified
Former swim coach at Weslyan University
Varsity swimmer at Weslyan University

🌊✨ Instructor Spotlight: Meet Allie! ✨🌊

We’re excited to introduce Allie, one of our talented swim instructors and lifeguards at Hamptons Swim! 💙

Allie has been a swimmer for as long as she can remember and spent 12 years competing on swim teams, developing a lifelong love for the water that she now shares with her students. From parent-and-infant classes to swim team preparation, she has experience teaching swimmers of all ages and abilities, helping each student build confidence, water safety skills, and a love for swimming.

Her passion for the water didn't stop at the pool. Swimming inspired Allie to pursue SCUBA diving, ocean work, and a degree in Marine Science, expanding her knowledge and experience across a variety of aquatic environments.

With experience as both a pool and waterfront lifeguard and as a certified SCUBA instructor, Allie brings a unique blend of expertise, safety awareness, and enthusiasm to every lesson. Whether she's working with a first-time swimmer or helping a more advanced student refine their skills, her goal is always to create a fun, supportive, and safe learning environment.

We're proud to have Allie on the Hamptons Swim team and look forward to another fantastic season in the water! 🏊‍♀️🌊☀️

Meet one of the incredible instructors behind Hamptons Swim — Erica! 🌊💙

With 6 years of swim instruction experience (and three summers working with us), Erica brings an exceptional level of knowledge, leadership, and passion to every lesson. She currently serves as a Master Swim Instructor at Life Time, where she trains and mentors new instructors, leads services, and helps maintain excellence in aquatic education.

Beyond the pool, Erica is a mother of three and holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy — giving her a unique understanding of movement, body mechanics, confidence-building, and individualized learning styles for swimmers of all ages and abilities.

Erica teaches:

🏊 Learn-to-Swim Programs
🏊 Adult Swim Lessons

Her passion for swimming runs deep. Erica swam competitively from ages 8–17, served as captain of her varsity high school swim team, and continues to swim year-round today — including open water swimming in the Long Island Sound. She was also a relay swimmer and finisher in the 70.3 Ironman Jones Beach! 💪🌊

🌊✨ Instructor Spotlight: Meet Maya! ✨🌊

We’re excited to welcome Maya back for her third season with Hamptons Swim! 💙

A lifelong East End local from East Quogue, Maya has spent more than 5 years as both a pool and ocean lifeguard, growing up surfing and swimming in the waters she now helps others enjoy safely and confidently.

Before joining Hamptons Swim as an instructor, Maya taught swim lessons at Future Stars Camp, working with children of all ages and skill levels. Her patient, encouraging approach makes her a favorite among swimmers and families alike.

Outside the pool, Maya is pursuing a degree in Speech-Language Pathology and has a special passion for supporting children and individuals on the autism spectrum. Her caring nature, combined with her strong water safety background, helps create a positive learning environment where every swimmer can thrive.

Whether she’s introducing a beginner to the water or helping a swimmer build confidence and skills, Maya brings enthusiasm, kindness, and a genuine love for teaching to every lesson. 🏊‍♀️☀️
