🥎 Tournament Rules Update – 10U & 12U Divisions 🥎

To support a positive, sportsmanlike atmosphere and maintain competitive pool play, we will be returning to our original game format for the 10U and 12U divisions.

Effective immediately, a 5-run-per-inning limit will be in effect during POOL PLAY ONLY for 10U and 12U teams.

There will be no 5-run limit during bracket play or championship games.

This adjustment helps keep pool play competitive while still allowing teams the opportunity to compete without restrictions when advancing through the tournament.

Thank you for your understanding and support. We look forward to a great weekend of softball!

Good luck to our Polar high school athletes as they head into the High School State Championships this week!

For many of these players, state marks the end of their high school season and the beginning of their summer competitive season. We’re proud to watch them represent their schools this week and can’t wait to see them back in Polar colors soon.

🌞🥎 WELCOME TO TOURNAMENT SEASON! 🥎🌞

We’re excited to host teams and families from across Alaska this summer! To help keep our facilities clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone, please keep the following in mind:

🍔 CONCESSIONS ARE OPEN!
Come hungry! Our concession stand will be serving up tournament favorites all weekend long. We encourage teams and families to support our hardworking volunteers and vendors throughout the event.

🔥 NO GRILLS
For the safety of all participants and spectators, BBQ grills are not permitted anywhere on tournament grounds, including parking lots and RV areas.

🌻 NO SEEDED SNACKS
Sunflower seeds, peanuts, pistachios, and other seeded snacks are not allowed at the complex. While they may seem harmless, the shells can become embedded in the turf and cause significant damage to the playing surface. Please help us protect the fields by leaving all seeded snacks at home.

🐾 DOGS ARE WELCOME
We love seeing your four-legged fans at the park! Please keep pets leashed and remember to clean up after them so everyone can enjoy the complex.

👟 CLEAT REMINDER
Metal cleats are not permitted at Arctic Heat tournaments. While 10U and 12U divisions play on dirt fields, metal cleats are not allowed in those age groups. Our older divisions will be competing on the new turf fields, where metal cleats are also prohibited. All players must wear plastic or molded cleats only.

Congratulations to AK KRUSH Fastpitch Softball for winning both the 10U and 12U divisions! 🏆

Thank you to all of the teams, families, coaches, umpires, volunteers, and supporters who helped make our first tournament such a success. We loved kicking off the season with all of you and can’t wait to see you all at the next one!
