Throwback to one of our favorite days of Season 4 so far! 🙌✨

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate our Grand Opening with us. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue serving and growing within this amazing community.

Our new home is already allowing us to expand our programs and create even more opportunities for our students, and we can’t wait to share everything we have planned.

This building is truly the result of a labor of love. So many people dedicated countless hours, hard work, and heart to help bring this dream to life, and we could not be more thankful for each and every one of them.

We are so excited to welcome back to Baxter Dance Training next week! ✨

Emily’s classes are always a studio favorite, and we can’t wait to have her back creating, inspiring, and sharing her passion with our dancers. Register for her master class using the link in our bio — we can’t wait to dance with all of you!

Emily Madden is a Los Angeles–based dancer and choreographer whose career spans stage, screen, live performance, and commercial work. Raised in the competitive convention circuit, she trained and assisted with Mather Dance Company before transitioning into the professional dance industry full-time.

Since the age of 10, Emily has performed in television productions, live shows, and commercial projects for major brands including Google and Barbie. She has danced on stages across the country and most recently performed with legendary entertainer Liza Minnelli. Emily is currently touring nationally with Velocity Dance Convention as a Professional Assistant while also performing as a company member with Royal Flux and The Los Angeles Jazz Company.

Passionate about mentoring the next generation of dancers, Emily brings incredible energy, experience, and artistry to every class. We are honored to have her back in our studio and cannot wait to see what she shares with our dancers next week! 🖤

Ade began dancing when he was young, excelling not only at training and competition, but also as an accomplished gymnast, earning Arizona’s State Champion title at just ten years old. While attending Chapman University, Ade auditioned for Season 5 of So You Think You Can Dance and became one of the top 3 boy finalists. His dance credits include working and performing two nationwide tours with SYTYCD , a Grammys performance with Beyonce, appearance in Rihanna’s “Hard” music video, an international tour with Alicia Keys titled the Element of Freedom World Tour. Performances with Julianne and Derek Hough from Dancing with the Stars, A Vegas residency at Cosmopolitan Hotel for Toni Braxton. He has also worked with numerous artists such as Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, JLo, Kelly Rowland, AGT, and Mary J Blige. Ade has also taught on dance conventions for the last 15 years. Bringing fire, excitement, fulfillment and positive energy to his classes. He also teaches at numerous studios around the country adding to his love of education. He’s ecstatic for the future of dance.

We are beyond excited to bring back one of the coolest experiences we offer at BDT. If you were part of our first LA Intensive, then you already know how unforgettable it was — and somehow this season is going to be even bigger and better.

At Baxter Dance Training, one of our biggest goals is preparing dancers for opportunities beyond the studio, and BDT Takes LA gives dancers a real glimpse into the professional industry world. Throughout the week, dancers will train with top LA industry professionals, experience what it’s like to work on a real production schedule, and participate in a professionally filmed dance video directed and choreographed by industry artist Maddie Massingill.

This is more than just a dance intensive — it’s real-world experience, professional training, and memories that will last forever. Each dancer will also receive a professionally edited video they can use for future auditions and opportunities.

✨ Open to ALL dancers enrolled at Baxter Dance Training — team members and non-team dancers are welcome!

We are SO excited to finally welcome dancers into our brand new studio building, and with more space comes even MORE classes and opportunities this summer!

Whether you’re a competitive dancer, recreational dancer, adult dancer, musician, or brand new to movement… there is truly something for everyone at BDT 🤍

✨ NEW Lifestyle Classes ✨
Highlighted in gray on the schedule, these classes were created to make dance more affordable and accessible for everyone. Tuition is ONLY $50 per month — a deal you won’t find anywhere else!

✨ NEW Adult Classes ✨
We are officially offering adult classes and cannot wait to grow this program! These classes are also just $50 per month, and we hope to continue adding even more options soon.

✨ Intro to Dance ✨
Perfect for beginner dancers wanting to dip their toes into class and discover the joy of movement in a fun and welcoming environment.

✨ NEW Music Classes ✨
We are so excited to introduce group music classes to BDT this summer! We are also offering Intro to Music classes for ages 2–6 🎶

All classes are open to BOTH BDT team dancers and dancers from the community who simply want to train, move, and have fun this summer!

Season 3 Recital ✅

This season, we decided to do something completely different for our recital — and it turned out to be so much fun! Over the past couple of months, each of our BDT staff members choreographed short routines within their classes, giving our dancers the opportunity to learn and perform something new and exciting.

With limited time to learn and perfect their dances, these dancers absolutely rose to the occasion. This recital truly showcased the growth, dedication, and hard work of every single dancer throughout the season, and we could not be more proud.
