DC Elite Gold 18O Come Back To Defeat Delaware Diamonds Gold 18U

DC Elite Gold 18O trailed by as many as seven, but came back to top Delaware Diamonds Gold 18U on Sunday, 11-8.

DC Elite Gold 18O opened the scoring in the first after Bobbie Tate 2026 doubled, scoring one run.

Delaware Diamonds Gold 18U flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the second, scoring six runs on four hits to take the lead, 6-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Lily Hazzard on an 0-2 count that drove in two.

Delaware Diamonds Gold 18U added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Samantha Holliday grounded out, and Addison Sapp hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.

DC Elite Gold 18O flipped the game on its head in the top of the fourth, scoring 10 runs on eight hits to take the lead, 11-8. The biggest blow in the inning was an error that drove in two.

Arianna Pitts 2026 earned the win for DC Elite Gold 18O. The starting pitcher gave up six hits and eight runs over four innings, striking out none and walking none. Madison Frazier took the loss for Delaware Diamonds Gold 18U. The right-handed pitcher went three innings, surrendering two runs (one earned) on four hits, striking out two and walking none.

Lauren Willenbucher 2027, Jordynn Carter 2026, and Pitts 2026 each collected two hits for DC Elite Gold 18O. Willenbucher 2027 and Viola Sinbondit 2028 each drove in two runs for DC Elite Gold 18O. DC Elite Gold 18O turned one double play in the game. DC Elite Gold 18O didn't commit a single error in the field. Alex Nehrer 2027 had the most chances in the field with nine.

Frazier, Grayce Glover, Aleandra Bennett, Hazzard, #85, and L Longo each collected one hit for Delaware Diamonds Gold 18U. Sapp, Holliday, and Hazzard each drove in two runs for Delaware Diamonds Gold 18U.
