We're looking forward to seeing everyone at the dance this Saturday! The lesson beforehand (8-9pm) will be taught by Fen Lastra.

Lesson description:

The Space We Hold and Carry

Fusion has many shapes of connection, drawn from a wide variety of different dances. In this class, we'll take a dive into how we can intentionally vary our connection in order to communicate not just that we want to dance different styles, but that we want our dance to mean different things, and to build a relationship between leading and following that is both flexible and creative.

Access Notes: This class will be taught in a scramble-style rotation where you can stay in one role or switch roles. You should be comfortable following steps in directions.

Instructor bio:
Fen Lastra is a tenured dance professor, an award-winning educator, and a full-time pedagogy nerd based in Rochester and hailing originally from the U.K. They specialize in Fusion and Blues dance as well as access and safety in the social dance community.
