‼ Warren City School District Residents ‼

We are excited to share that the Student Recreation and Wellness Center will reopen to community members beginning on Tuesday, September 8th. Warren City School District residents can access the second floor of the SRWC (for FREE), which features cardio equipment, such as - treadmills, rowing machines, stationary bikes, ellipticals, and stair steppers as well as three lane walking track. Additionally, weight equipment includes the following machines - chest press, over head press, seated leg curl, lat pull down, leg extension, back extension, abdominal crunch. Medicine balls, yoga mats, free weights, and much more are available on the second floor as well.

Community Hours:
Mondays from 3PM-7PM
Tuesdays from 3PM-7PM
Wednesdays from 3PM-7PM
Thursdays from 3PM-7PM
Saturdays from 8AM-NOON

- Must a Warren City School District resident
- Must be 21+ years old
- Must bring a valid photo id
- All equipment on the second floor is available for use

Park in the main lot of WGH and enter through the double doors of the SRWC. Rick Peterson, our Security Liaison, will be at the front desk to assist with security measures and proper sign in. With expanded hours and Saturday mornings, we hope to see our community SHOW UP and form healthier habits!

On Friday night, we welcomed members of the Warren Football Association, Gridiron Club, and WCS Staff and Guests; food was catered by our amazing Food Service department at WGH. What a place to watch a Raiders victory!

Stop by the SRWC tomorrow from 11am-2pm for a youth bike raffle and helmet giveaways from BikeSmart - Warren! Other community partners will also be at the event providing any resources you may need.

On Tuesday, the SRWC hosted Good Morning Warren in collaboration with the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber. Speakers included:

Steve Chiaro, Superintendent of Warren City Schools
Deryck Toles, CEO & Founder of Inspiring Minds
Mayor Doug Franklin, City of Warren Mayor

The event included over 200 professionals from local businesses and provided valuable information, meaningful connections, and a firsthand look at the opportunities and progress taking place throughout the community.

The Warren Gridiron Club is excited to invite current members to watch the first home football game of the season from the rooftop of the beautiful Student Recreation & Wellness Center! The home opener is scheduled for Friday, August 28th at 7PM vs. Youngstown High School at Mollenkopf Stadium.

Current Gridiron Club members can attend for just $20 per person which includes a general admission ticket, food, and beverage. Tickets will be on sale until 8/24. Doors open at 6PM!

The WGH National Honor Society will be hosting a Blood Drive on August 12th from 10AM-4PM inside the Student Recreation and Wellness Center.

Last year our NHS received a PREMIERE RANKING from their donations through the year and students were awarded $1,500 in scholarships! Please consider supporting our NHS students by giving blood on August 12th.

The Mobile Food Pantry will be available on Friday, July 24th from Noon-1PM. It will be located next to Raider Pride Park, just off the Elm Rd. entrance. The pantry offers fresh produce, shelf-stable food, hygiene items and much more!
