Friday Afternoon
Woodbine: Prophetic Debby goes 7 furlongs on the Tapeta in Race 6.

Friday Evening:
Meadowlands: Wyoming trots in Race 3, the Kindergarten Series.

Then the big one. Yankee Boss starts from the rail in the $700,000 Breeders Crown, Race 10 at Scioto Downs, with Tim Tetrick driving for Åke Svanstedt. It’s championship night, and our c**t is in it. Go Boss.

ONTARIO DOUBLEHEADER: LUCKY 7s

One Saturday, two tracks, two Graham Grace Stables stars, and both drew post 7.

THE AFTERNOON: Thoroughbred action at Woodbine

Race 7, post 7: Prophetic Debby, our Irish-bred filly by Awtaad, takes on fillies and mares in a $125,000 allowance over 1 1/16 miles on the all-weather track. Trainer Barbara Minshall, rider Daisuke Fukumoto.

THE EVENING: Standardbred action at Woodbine Mohawk Park

Race 9, post 7: Beau Jangles goes in the $350,000 Ontario Sires Stakes Gold Super Final, listed as the 4-5 morning-line favorite. James MacDonald drives for trainer Ian Moore.

Last year he went 12-for-12 and won this race. This fall he won the final Gold leg at Mohawk and then took a Bluegrass division at The Red Mile in a lifetime-best 1:47.2. Now he’s back home in Ontario to defend his title.

Thoroughbreds by day. Standardbreds by night. All Graham Grace.

Congratulations to the connections of Ontario Sired Beau Jangles, shown with caretaker Riley Noble in front of The Stable of Memories on Saturday at The Red Mile after setting a 1:47.2 career-best mile in his Bluegrass division.
The son of Cattlewash out of Mrs Major Hill was bred by Tara Hills Stud, is owned by the Graham Grace Stables, Kiwi Stables and Bolton Stables, is trained by Dr. Ian Moore and was driven to victory by James MacDonald.

What. A. Weekend. Here’s how it played out for the Graham Grace Stables crew: trotting, pacing and galloping, from Lexington to Delaware Park and back again.

THURSDAY – Yankee Boss hangs tough
Our Captain Corey c**t never gave up and finished strong when it counted, taking his $91,000 Bluegrass division in 1:52. Tim Tetrick and Åke Svanstedt had him ready to roll. Cheers to our partners at Kiwi Stables.

SATURDAY – Sparks brought the energy at The Red Mile and battled all the way to the wire, finishing 3rd in the Kentucky Filly Futurity Consolation.

SATURDAY – Lithos says, “Dirt? Yes, please.”
Our Curlin c**t made his first start on dirt in the $150,000 Rocky Run Stakes at Delaware Park, and he made it count. He sat dead last for most of the race, then came flying through the slop under Joseph Ramos to grab 2nd. Trainer Whitworth Beckman has a good one here, and this c**t is just getting started.

SATURDAY — Beau Jangles : The Horse of the Year is BACK, baby.

James MacDonald shot him to the lead from the rail, and from there it was The Beau Show. He shut the door in the stretch to win his Grade 3 Bluegrass division by 1½ lengths in a blazing 1:47.2 on an off track;a NEW LIFETIME MARK. That’s career win No. 18 from 25 starts. Take a bow, Dr. Ian Moore and team, and our partners at Kiwi and Bolton Stables.

Two wins, a 2nd and a 3rd. Thank you to every trainer, driver, jockey, groom and partner who made this weekend so much fun. Now, who’s ready for what’s next? 🔥

Karma Cat is back. 🐎

Pneumonia. A stress fracture. Months of patience. Our talented Practical Joke filly fought through all of it, and this morning she was back under the lights at Churchill Downs looking every bit the athlete we know she is.

Sweet in the barn, all business on the track.

YANKEE BOSS came to The Red Mile and showed who’s boss! 🏆

A win in the $91,000 Bluegrass Series in 1:52, just four-fifths of a second off the WORLD RECORD for two-year-old trotting c**ts.

Congratulations to Tim Tetrick, Åke Svanstedt and the entire team behind our boy.

Beau Jangles (James MacDonald) solidified top spot in the OSS standings on Monday night at Woodbine - Mohawk Park with his third Gold victory of the year for breeder Tara Hills Stud, owners Graham Grace Stables, Kiwi Stables and Bolton Stable and trainer Dr. Ian Moore.

A big week ahead for Graham Grace Stables, with five horses racing over the next several days! 🐎

The week started Monday at Woodbine Mohawk Park, where Beau Jangles won the final Ontario Sires Stakes Gold leg in 1:49.3. Fully recovered from illness, Beau looked strong and finished with a :26 final quarter to win a field of nine.

Congratulations to the entire team! 🥳

Next up is Yankee Boss on Thursday, October 1, in Race 8 at The Red Mile. He’ll start from post 7 in the $91,000 Bluegrass Series for 2-year-old c**t and gelding trotters, with Tim Tetrick driving for trainer Åke Svanstedt.

Friday evening, Mascarpone races in Race 1, a $22,000 pace for 4-year-olds and younger, from post 8 at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday brings three more runners:
• Beau Jangles returns to The Red Mile for the Bluegrass Stakes.
• Sparks competes in Race 8, the $61,000 Kentucky Filly Futurity 3-Year-Old Fillies Consolation, from post 9 with Yannick Gingras driving for Åke Svanstedt.
• Lithos makes his second start at Belmont Park in Race 1. After a strong turf debut at Saratoga, we’re excited to see him return to his preferred dirt surface.
