Good luck to all of our players as they hit the field this fall! Play hard, have fun, be a great teammate, and make some memories! ⚾

👏 A huge THANK YOU to our volunteer coaches for the time, energy, and dedication you give to our players and our program.

💙 And thank you to all of our parents and families for getting players to practices and games, cheering from the sidelines, and helping make each season possible!

⚾️ That’s a Wrap on the 1st Annual Walkersville Baseball Camp! 🦁💙💛

As we close out an incredible week, we want to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the 1st Annual Walkersville Baseball Camp such a tremendous success!

A special thank you goes out to our amazing coaches from GVAA Baseball and Walkersville High School Baseball, along with the outstanding WHS baseball players who volunteered their time, shared their knowledge, and served as incredible role models for our young athletes. Your passion for the game and dedication to these kids made this camp a truly unforgettable experience.

To all of our campers and families—thank you for trusting us with your ballplayers this week. We loved watching friendships grow, confidence build, skills improve, and smiles fill the field each day. The enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and effort from every camper made this week incredibly rewarding for all of us.

We also want to thank all of the parents for your support throughout the week. We hope your players came home each day excited, a little more confident, and with an even greater love for the game of baseball.

This was just the beginning! We can’t wait to build on this year’s success and make next summer’s camp even bigger and better.

📣 Be on the lookout for the 2nd Annual Walkersville Baseball Camp coming Summer 2027! We can’t wait to see everyone back on the field for another week of learning, competition, friendships, and fun.

☀️ Walkersville Baseball Camp Update – Thursday, July 16 ⚾

Due to the extreme heat forecast for tomorrow, Thursday, July 16, we will be ending the final day of Walkersville Baseball Camp early at 11:00 AM.

The health and safety of all campers and staff is our top priority. With the anticipated high temperatures and heat index, we feel it is important to adjust our schedule to ensure everyone remains safe while still enjoying the last day of camp.

Please make sure your child:
�💧 Brings extra water and/or sports drinks to stay hydrated throughout the morning.
�🩳 Wears shorts and lightweight clothing appropriate for the heat.
�🧴 Applies sunscreen before arriving at camp.
�🍳 Eats a good breakfast before camp begins.

Our coaches will continue to monitor all participants closely and provide frequent water breaks throughout the morning.
Thank you for your understanding and flexibility as we prioritize the well-being of our campers. We look forward to finishing camp on a fun and safe note with everyone tomorrow!

⚾ Day 1 is in the books, and what a great start to the 1st Annual Walkersville Baseball Camp! 💙💛

A huge THANK YOU to all of our campers for bringing great attitudes, hustle, and excitement today! We had an awesome morning of skill stations, games, and friendly competition, and we can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow.

⚾ WHS/GVAA Baseball Camp Starts Monday! ⚾

The countdown is on! We are just a few days away from the 1st Annual Walkersville Baseball Camp, sponsored by GVAA Baseball, and we can’t wait to welcome all of our campers for an awesome week of learning, competition, and fun!

📅 Camp Dates: July 13–16
⏰ Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Check-In: Please arrive between 7:45–8:00 AM at the Heritage Farm Park concession stand.

Each camper should bring:
🥤 Water
🍎 A snack
👟 Baseball cleats
⚾ Baseball equipment (bat, glove, helmet, etc.)

Each morning will feature instructional skill stations focused on building strong baseball fundamentals, followed by a Gatorade break provided by GVAA around 10:30 AM. We’ll finish each day with fun mini games and competitive activities where players can put their new skills into action!

🕛 Pickup is at 12:00 PM each day.

Parents are welcome to stay and watch throughout camp, but it is not required.

We’re excited to kick off what we hope becomes a great Walkersville tradition and can’t wait to see everyone Monday morning!

👦 Open to 2nd Grade through Incoming 9th Graders

Players will enjoy:
