I got behind on posting so wanted to share a few pics. The stable weather and warming water temps have the Walleyes biting good on Leech Lake right now with a nice combination of big fish and eaters coming in most days lately. The western bays of Leech Lake are ice free, there was still some ice floating around the middle and north end of the main lake a couple of days ago, but shouldn't last long. The panfish are starting to bite and should be a great walleye opener. Let me know if you'd like to get out fishing!
