Adaptive shooting program this Sunday, June 14th at Apple Valley Gun Club!

The Adaptive Shooting Sports Program was created for people who have experienced spinal cord injury/disorder, amputee/limb-loss, and mobility impairments, providing the opportunity to enjoy the shooting sports.

Participants will have one-on-one instruction from qualified instructors and coaches, and learn firearm safety, self-defense, and marksmanship. Using adaptive equipment and techniques, every participant can shoot an assortment of fi****ms, regardless of their physical limitations.

NRA Women On Target Instructional Shooting Clinic is designed to introduce women to the shooting sports. If women are curious about fi****ms, whether for personal defense or to learn a new sport, Women On Target® is the perfect place to start.

No experience or equipment is necessary to participate - and it's open to the public. You will have a one to one coach/instructor at your side.

We provide everything; handguns, rifles, shotguns and all the ammunition. We have eye and ear protection or you can bring your own. We even provide lunch.

Strong Women and Guns (SWAG) LEVEL 2: Movement & Defense
SWAG Level 2 meets the third Thursday of each month from 6:30 pm to 8 pm

SWAG Level 2 is the progressive SWAG program, focused on applying safe firearm handling skills in a more dynamic and structured range environment.

This session is designed for women who are already confident with their firearm and ready to move beyond foundational skills.

The focus is on holster work, movement, and engaging targets from various positions while maintaining safety, control, and consistency. (This event is not for new or novice shooters.)

Please, no spectators.

Our purpose is to provide a welcoming atmosphere for all who want to practice and refresh your fundamentals, grow in your knowledge and education of fi****ms with training on the Range. You will have the opportunity to work with Expert and Certified Instructors.

You must be on time and attend the range safety briefing or you will not shoot.

You do not need to be a member of Apple Valley Gun Club. All of our classes and Events are open to the Public.

If you are new to fi****ms, or just looking to re-acclimate yourself with shooting, check out one of our fi****ms courses including Women's Pistol Night, our NRA Basics of Pistol Class or our SWAG Level 1 night. These are all great opportunities to work one-on-one with certified NRA Fi****ms Instructors.

Learn3D Archery at Apple Valley Gun Club - Open to Public!

Second Saturday of each month
June – September: 8 am – 10 am
October – May: 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm
Located in the bowl area between the ranges.

Archers move around the course shooting at three-dimensional, foam animal targets at varying distances. Open to all ages.

Cost:
$5 per person
Includes equipment rental - arrive early if you are borrowing equipment.
