Schoolcraft Little League (SCLL) is part of Little League® Baseball and Softball that is played in approximately 6,500 communities across more than 80 countries around the world, but regardless of where games are played, each League shares the same core mission. Little League believes in the power of youth baseball and softball to teach life lessons that build stronger individuals and communities. Joined together by one common goal, every local league is part of One Team.

💜 SCLL President Transition Update

The need for a new Schoolcraft Little League President still remains, and we are asking someone from our league community to step forward and serve.

With the 1 month August 31 target date having passed for identifying a new president, President responsibilities are now being shared among the active leadership team to ensure league operations continue uninterrupted.

What’s next:
• September – Transition & onboarding
• October – New President settles into the role
• November – Monthly District 15 President meetings begin

No prior Little League Board experience is required. What matters most is a willingness to learn, serve, and support our players, families, and community.

The incoming President will have the full support of the current leadership team to ensure a successful transition.

With 320+ league families, we know our next President is out there. Please help us identify and encourage someone to step forward!

A quick follow-up to the communications (league wide emails and FB) over the last month about finding our next President of Schoolcraft Little League. ⚾🥎

We’re still looking for someone willing to step forward and serve our kids and our community.

You do not need previous Little League Board experience. What matters most is a willingness to learn, work with others, and help continue the momentum we’ve built together.

Serving as League President is a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting difference for the players, families, coaches, and volunteers who make SCLL such a special part of our community. 💜

If you’ve ever thought, “I’d like to help, but I’m not sure I know enough,” — please don’t let that stop you. There are people who can help you learn the role and get started.

👉 If you’re interested, please reach out by August 31, 2026 as this will be John's last day as acting President.

After four rewarding years, I’ve decided to step down as President of Schoolcraft Little League.

I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished together, from record registration numbers and major field/facility improvements to new programs and continued growth of our league.

Now, we’re looking for our next League President! ⚾🥎

👉 No previous Little League Board experience is required. We’re looking for someone who is willing to learn, serve, and help our community.
