This week’s schedule had an unfortunate update.
Full Moon Yoga will be cancelled for February 1st. 😔
The “Cold Moon” came aptly named this year.
Due to temps that will be in the 40s during class - we will have to cancel and wait for the arrival of the Worm Moon on March 3rd. 🌕

Tomorrow we have Yin Yoga 6:45PM - 7:45PM. This Friday we will be working our core and floor with Pelvic Floor Yoga from 6:45PM - 7:45PM.
Both classes will be hosted by Treasure Coast Fitness & Nutrition .

As we step into 2026, I’m thankful for everyone who has come into my life through yoga and togetherness. With this gratitude, I wish nothing but the best for everyone in the coming new year.

In hopes for peace, prosperity, and joy for all, here are a few beautiful traditions meant to invite these hopes into the year ahead 🌿

🍇 At midnight: Eat 12 grapes (one for each month) and open your front and back door — letting the old year out and the new year in.

❤️🤍 What to wear: New red underwear for luck, love, and happiness… or white for peace and clarity.

🍽️ Abundance foods: Lentils or black-eyed peas + pork to symbolize wealth, and greens like kale or collards for extra “green” in the new year (I’ll be making Hoppin’ John!).

🥂 Celebrate: Champagne or sparkling wine for joy and good fortune.

🎉 Make noise: Fireworks, music, bells, laughter — all said to keep negative energy and ward away evil spirits.

🧘🏽‍♀️ New Year’s Day reminder: Don’t clean! It’s believed you’ll sweep away your luck. Rest, breathe, stretch, and receive.

Today marks the longest night and the return of the light.

The winter solstice invites us to slow down, turn inward, and honor rest. In yoga and many ancient traditions, this day represents rebirth, renewal, and quiet transformation. From this point forward, the days gradually grow longer—reminding us that even in darkness, light is always returning.

🌙 Winter Solstice Ritual Ideas:
• Light a candle to symbolize inner light and intention
• Practice gentle, grounding yoga or restorative poses
• Journal on what you’re releasing from the past season
• Set intentions for the coming months
• Spend time in stillness, meditation, or breathwork

This is a powerful time to rest, reflect, and realign—not to rush or push, but to honor your natural rhythms. Trust the quiet. Growth is happening beneath the surface.
