Today we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never free.

As we gather with family and friends, may we take a moment to reflect with gratitude and pray for the families of those who have lost loved ones in service.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13

In hockey, a power play gives a team an advantage and an opportunity to shift the game’s momentum.

As followers of Jesus, we live with a different kind of power play — God’s power working within us through His Spirit.

When we feel weak, discouraged, or tempted, we don’t have to rely on our own strength. Jesus gives us the power to keep going, make wise choices, and grow in faith.
