A huge thank you to New Lothrop, Cros-Lex, North Branch, Reese, and Akron-Fairgrove for another outstanding Vassar Summer League!

This marks 6 years running, and every year continues to be a great experience. It’s awesome to see the growth of our players, the competitive basketball, and the relationships built throughout the week.

We truly appreciate all of the coaches, players, officials, and everyone who helps make this league such a success. We’re already looking forward to Year 7!

Albion Team Camp – Day 3 Recap

The Vulcans finished Day 3 with a 5-4 record after an incredible 59-58 buzzer-beater victory over Swartz Creek!

With the game on the line, Kris Cerda came through with a put-back at the buzzer to give Vassar the thrilling one-point win.

Albion Team Camp – Day 3

The Vulcans opened Day 3 with a tough loss, falling to Northern Lutheran (Jackson) 48-38. Vassar battled throughout the game but couldn’t overcome a slow offensive start.

The Varsity team now sits at 3-4 in camp play as they look to bounce back in their next matchup.

🏆 JV Situational Tournament Champions! 🏆

The Vassar JV squad finished the day on top, battling through a competitive situational tournament and coming away as champions. The team showed great effort, communication, and resilience in a variety of game situations, continuing to grow and improve throughout camp.

Proud of the way these young men competed and represented the Vulcan program.

Albion Team Camp – Day 2 Recap

The Vulcans finished Day 2 with a 4-3 record, closing out the evening with a hard-fought 59-52 victory over Lakeshore.

Vassar was led by:

* Hunter Venable – 21 points
* Kris Cerda – 16 points
* Madix Gorleski – 10 points
* Jackson Bussell – 8 points

The Vulcans battled through a full day of competition and responded with a strong finish, earning their fourth win of the camp. The team will look to carry that momentum into the final day at Albion.

The JV Vulcans battled hard but came up just short against Lakeshore, falling 43-39.

Wyatt Blohm led Vassar with 12 points in the contest.
