Free Teen Heart Screenings

Aspire Rural Health System and the Thomas Smith Memorial Foundation are offering free heart screenings for students ages 13-19.

Saturday, October 10
8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Marlette Regional Hospital Medical Office Building

Each screening takes approximately 15-30 minutes and includes a medical history review, blood pressure check, EKG, evaluation by a pediatric cardiologist, and an echocardiogram if needed.

Space is limited, and advance registration is required. Parents and guardians can register and complete the required packet at:

8th grade volleyball opens the season with Caro

The 8th grade team opened the season last night against Caro. We came up short, 18-25, 20-25, but saw plenty to build on. This year’s team has 4 eighth graders and 5 seventh graders, and they looked strong for their first game.
