We’ve fallen into { FALL, Y’ALL 🍁 } with our fall pep rally!
Junior Spirit Committee Captains Aubrey Lakner + Jocelyn Bakken planned a motivating + interactive pep rally for both MS/HS yesterday morning.

Within the 40-minute event, the charge was made to get involved, share talents, excel in competition + set goals to push ourselves academically, socially + athletically with naming groups + students already modeling those initiatives to make this school year our best yet!🙌

Over two dozen students were on the mic to hype up their clubs + sports, DCWC taught a new crowd cheer + the band played our Fight Song to open + close getting all Falcons on their feet!

The highlight was the Class Spirit Competition where 16 volunteer players (2 per grade + staff!) competed in quick games:

🏈 8th grader Nash Telley secured the final pom in “Football Scrimmage Snaps” elimination game led by senior Halaina Hunter!

⛳️ HS Staff members Mrs. LaChapelle + Mr. Wiemer secured the round win for “Girls’ Golf Scramble” relay race, an homage to the sports’ inaugural season on campus!

🏃🏾🥎 12th grader Ava Newbauer claimed the final round of play for seniors when she secured the “Run the Bases” musical chairs elimination game thanks to Mrs. Waterz on sound!

👀 8th grader Olivia Hayes won the 3-way tiebreaker “Head in the Game” crowning the 8th graders as Fall Spirit Champions! 📣

Catch our next pep rally to honor winter celebrations, activities + athletics Wednesday, December 2nd. SALT will close the year with their first ever pep rally for the spring on Wednesday, April 7th.
