LRSA IDPA is an affiliated IDPA club based in Valdosta, Georgia. IDPA is the use of practical fi****ms to solve "real-world" self-defense scenarios.

IDPA stands for International Defensive Pistol Association, and Little River Sportsman's Association (LRSA) IDPA is an affiliated IDPA club based in Valdosta, Georgia. IDPA is the use of practical equipment including full charge service ammunition to solve simulated “real world” self-defense scenarios using practical handguns and holsters that are suitable for self-defense use. The main goal is to

test the skill and ability of an individual. IDPA matches include drawing from a holster, engaging targets from cover and/or on the move, engaging moving targets and engaging targets from non-typical positions (sitting, kneeling, weak-hand only, strong-hand only, etc.).

Dates are set for March 13-15th. With Staff shooting on Friday March 13th and competitors on Saturday March 14th and Sunday March 15th.

The 2025 Rollin' On The River IDPA Championship Sponsored by Hunter Constantine Carry Belts is proud to announce our prize table is quite full this year, with 23 guns up for grabs between staff and competitors which puts your odds at 1:8 odds!! ROTR: Last weekend to register!

The title sponsor will be announced this weekend and the logo has been updated and everything is ordered. This is the last weekend to guarantee a t-shirt for the match.

It has also come to my attention that there was some confusion about the rain date. First of all, the match has only been affected by weather one year for the last five years, and we do not anticipate this to be an issue, but plans are in place to avoid a conflict with Mother's Day weekend and potentially lose points for Nationals this season. If in the event the match is rained out/flooded. You will be able to receive a refund, but we are refunding at the amount minus fees and the charity donation as this is promised in advance for the cadets working to help paste and reset. As we did last year there will be one week the match will open up to allow changes, and then it will lock back and no refund will be given beyond that point. IF you have any questions, please email me at [email protected] and I can address your concerns. Again we do not anticipate this happening and if you are hesitant on signing up please do not wait if you want to be in this year's competition.

With that, registration changes will be locked Monday Feb. 3rd, 2025 at 8:00AM EST. If you need three points for Nationals at a convenient, fun, and well prized match, please join us this year!!

The 2025 Rollin' On The River IDPA Championship would like to welcome GO FAST Concepts as a stage sponsor to this year's match. This year's 2025 Rollin' On The River IDPA Championship match is set to go for March 7-9th, 2025 at the Little River Sportsman's Association in Valdosta, GA. The match will feature all divisions and classifications including optional BUG/REV divisions. We will have 10 full scenario stages and standard stages, and the estimated round count is 200 rounds.

Registration is $125 and includes a t-shirt, match registration, and a box-style lunch.
Registration opens at 9AM today October 1st and will lock on February 1st for changes and refunds will stop.

Please pay careful attention as the refund policy has changed to provide more money for our charity, the Red Carpet Foundation of South Georgia which works to provide resources for our airmen both stateside and deployed overseas.

Do you need some points before registration closes on May 31st for IDPA Nationals?? There are still spaces left in the 2024 Rollin' On The River Tier 4 IDPA Championship! That's three points, folks!! It will start on May 10th, and run through the May 12th, but if Mother's Day is blocked for you come shoot on Friday or Saturday! Located just three and a half hours from Atlanta and two hours from Jacksonville, FL flights in and out could have you in the night before and out that evening back to your family. Come join us to benefit a great charity, the Red Carpet Foundation, and shoot some fun IDPA stages. Registration is locked, but you can email the match director at [email protected] to gain access to registration. We hope you can join us!!

We are also in need of a few safety officers, if you are able to join we can comp your match fee and you will be entered in a separate staff drawing with lucrative prizes! Staff shoots Friday, and works Saturday/Sunday includes extra t-shirt and all lunches!!

I have some unfortunate news to share with you regarding the match this weekend. Last night’s storm which was supposed to bring 1.5 inches of rain brought us 6 inches of rain. The Little River which runs behind the range is rising and will reach flood stage by this afternoon. The range will be 3-4ft underwater by this afternoon and close to 8ft underwater by Sunday.
We are rescheduling the match to the alternate weekend. It will be the 2nd weekend of May. May 10th will be the staff shoot, May 11th-12th will be competitor days. All registrations have been have been moved to the new match and we will open the match this at 12PM this afternoon for squadding. We realize this is Mother's Day Weekend and have opened up two additional non-staff squads on Friday, and added spaces to the Saturday squads to provide the most options for shooters to reschedule.

If you cannot make the new date we will honor a refund/withdrawal request through April 28th, 2024. After that point it will be the shooter’s responsibility to find a replacement for their slot. The match has been reopened on Practiscore.

Again, we understand this will be a huge inconvenience and we apologize on behalf of Mother Nature and we hope you can join us for the new date in May.
